Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 55!!!

Adora's Search for Honor is all new with Chapter 55! I am getting really excited because this story is coming to an end! With only a handful of chapters left, how will it all end? I'm still not telling, so just sit back and enjoy this all new She-Ra Saturday!

Previously: The Snake Men were vanquished. She-Ra fought against King Hiss and Skeletor. After a long fight, King Hiss was tossed into lava while Skeletor was seemingly killed too. The giant snake Serpos threatened to destroy Eternia, but was stopped by none other than Stinkor... Mermista and Mer-Man were trapped inside a giant sea creature known as the Zazark. Mermista made a deal with Mer-Man if he could find a way to get them both out alive. The deal being that Mermista would hand over her magic necklace giving her the freedom to roam the lands with her legs... Ultimera finally realized where her Chaos Sword was... Flutterina has been feeling funny... Frosta has been a bit depressed. With the knowledge that Sweet Bee and He-Man might be kaput, she suddenly started feeling a little bit better...

And now...

Adora's Search for Honor
Part 3
Chapter 55

"Mighty Hordak, we can't stay in the Sun Tower forever," mumbles Grizzlor as the furry beast looks towards his leader. Standing tall in the Crystal Sands, the Sun Tower is a rather remote place, safe from prying eyes. The drawback is all the dry and hot air floating about. Grizzlor is drenched in sweat, hoping that Hordak manages to come up with a new idea for a base.

Sitting comfortably in Peekablue's gilded throne, Hordak feeds his pet Imp, "Grizzlor, where would you have the fledgling Horde go? Hm?" Hordak patiently awaits an answer. Grizzlor rubs the back of his head in silence. Leech and Modulok look on from the sidelines. Hordak continues, "I'm trying to approach this situation differently. The old Hordak would have rushed down and smacked you in the face for such a stupid statement. I've changed though. Nearly losing everything will do that to a ruthless leader. We have no other choice but to stay here for awhile longer." Hordak asks for someone to retrieve Multi Bot.

Leech leaves to quickly return with a fully charged Multi Bot. Buzzing with his familiar lilt, the multi-limbed robot greets Hordak. The leader of the Horde inquires about the state of the Horde's current abode and other Horde members. Multi Bot whirs, "Mighty Hordak, the Sun Tower will be unable to sustain us for much longer. We will need to find something soon if you want to rise in numbers. No other Horde members have returned either. It looks like we are all that is left of the Horde."

Groaning in annoyance, Hordak sits on his throne, "Carry on with your work Multi Bot. We'll continue to wait for a little while longer. The others must arrive soon. If they do not, we will leave to find something else." The other Horde members smile at this thought. None of them want to continue wasting away in the barren Sun Tower. Unknown to the struggling Horde members, Huntara continues to watch on and observe in the shadows...

Word reaches throughout various areas of Eternia just a mere day after the fall of the Snake Men along with the death of Skeletor. Many people are stunned, unsure of what to believe. The Masters of the Universe gather round to hunt down any remaining Snake Men that are loose. A few Evil Warriors hover behind in Snake Mountain. They feel lost and unable to determine any course of action. The world is beginning to look like a new place. For some.

Castaspella charges into Snake Mountain followed by She-Ra and Netossa. The hypnotizing enchantress is still devastated over the loss of Stinkor. Among other concerns, Castaspella is also furious and looking for a fight with Shadow Weaver. In a matter of seconds, Castaspella approaches Shadow Weaver, "We have unfinished business witch!"

Shadow Weaver stares blankly at Castaspella, "Oh poor pathetic Castaspella. Haven't you had your fill of the fight? What do you want with me?" Pointing a finger at the witch, Castaspella charges, "You need to pay for your crimes. You killed my sister and tarnished her child. Catra is now a menace to the world and you let her escape. You cannot continue to roam free." She-Ra and Netossa stand with Castaspella in support.

Rasping out a reply, Shadow Weaver sighs, "How shall I pay for my crimes? And exactly how is it a crime that I left Mystacor to join the Horde? I never twisted your sister's arm to follow me. She followed on her own free will. I couldn't help that Hordak would place her in the slave mines. As for her spawn, well, I would like to think that I gave Catra a better life than you ever could. I taught her how to use her magic. I made sure she could rise in the ranks of the Horde. She never saw a day in the slave mines."

Castaspella shakes her head, "Unbelievable. The way you weave your little lies is disgusting. You know exactly what you have done. And you must pay." Shadow Weaver crackles an electric energy from her finger tips, "Haven't I suffered enough?" She points towards She-Ra, "She killed Skeletor, the only man I have ever loved! I've suffered with my disfigured face. Cloaked in shadows and magic, I have had to stumble through a painful existence! I have more than paid for all of our crimes."

Netossa places a hand on Castaspella's shoulder, "Come on Casta, we can't keep doing this. We've been through enough. Come on, let's just leave her alone." Castaspella shrugs away from her friend, "No. I can't do that!" Castaspella has tears in her eyes, "I'm never going to see my sister again. She is gone. I have a niece that I will never get to truly know. For all I will ever know of Catra is a spiteful madwoman. Shadow Weaver must pay for that." She-Ra turns to Castaspella, "Netossa is right Casta. Going after Shadow Weaver is only going to lead to more fighting. We've all been through enough warring to last us an eternity. Let's just leave this alone. Please, my friend."

Castaspella looks around the inner confines of Snake Mountain. Her heart hurts. She wants to see Stinkor. His is a familiar face, a face she has been used to seeing since her arrival on Eternia. But she knows that is not possible. She feels as if sadness and loss surrounds her in a tight grip. Hanging her head, Castaspella agrees to leave.

Shadow Weaver smiles to herself. As the heroes begin to leave, Shadow Weaver calls out for She-Ra to remain behind. Netossa gives a look, "Is that a good idea?" She-Ra nods as Netossa and Castaspella walk away. She-Ra turns to stare at Shadow Weaver. They are alone.

"It has been awhile since we've been together, hasn't it?" Shadow Weaver asks in an odd way. She-Ra casually shrugs, "I am not quite sure what that means. We've hardly spent much alone time together." Tilting her head back, Shadow Weaver chuckles, "That's where you are wrong child. Did you really think I'd never figure it out? After all, wasn't it I who raised you, Adora?"

A strange look passes over She-Ra's face quickly. Shadow Weaver points a twisted finger at the princess of power, "I saw it. Just now. I saw that glimmer of truth flash across that face of yours." She-Ra shakes her head, "Whatever you think you may know, don't get things twisted Shadow Weaver, you never raised me."

Folding her arms in a mock rage, Shadow Weaver rasps, "Oh yes. I forgot, that wretched nanny Madame Razz took care of you. But that wasn't entirely true now was it? I seem to recall you fondly thinking of me as your mother. You and Catra both. I wanted so much to instill the virtues of evil in you. I failed you." She-Ra shakes her head, "No. I simply realized that there were glaring errors in my ways. The master tricks that Hordak and you placed on all of us came crashing down. The children of the Horde Academy grew up to embark on their own path. And I'm proud to say that I stopped Hordak."

"So you stopped Hordak. Good for you Adora. With a little bit of razzle dazzle the stolen baby from Eternia became the warrior woman to bring about the Horde's own downfall. But you haven't stopped me. And you certainly haven't stopped Catra." Shadow Weaver lifts her head high, glaring with those bright yellow eyes. She-Ra shakes her head, "I meant what I said. I'm not going to try and stop you. You no longer pose a threat. You never did. Shadow Weaver, you were only a force to be reckoned with when you were standing behind some man. Hordak and Skeletor are both gone. You might as well dig your own grave now."

"What of your grave Adora? This whole persona as the virtuous She-Ra is stunning for sure, but I know the depths that you've gone. The blood you have spilled can never be fully cleaned. I might not be able to shatter you, but there are others who will. If I am to pay for my crimes, than you too shall pay for yours."

She-Ra shakes her head, refusing to fall prey to these taunts, "I know what I have done Shadow Weaver. I live with my actions every day and every night. Unlike you though, I make sure that I can make up for the past. I want to see this world and Etheria be free of the forces of evil." Shadow Weaver laughs with a throaty rasp. She glides towards She-Ra, "You do that child. Fight for what you believe in. And when that moment arrives where you have to look into the face of all your horrors, well, I hope you tremble in fear. The time is coming She-Ra. I won't be able to stop you, but there is someone who will. Someone whose rage is a work of pure art."

She-Ra knows who Shadow Weaver is referring to. "Shadow Weaver, you are wrong. I believe that there is goodness within Catra. And when I cross paths with her I am going to help her." Shadow Weaver chuckles again, "You truly don't know do you? You will be in for the fight of your life. Fare well you foolish child." Shadow Weaver folds her arms quickly as a plume of smoke fills around her her. In a moment Shadow Weaver is gone.

Standing alone, She-Ra holds onto the words spoken by Shadow Weaver. She-Ra walks away hoping that she will be able to find Catra and that their lives will be able to create a new possibility. Something different and better than what they have known their whole lives. The princess of power leaves Snake Mountain behind, ready to start a path towards a new direction. A new chapter.

***
Deep inside the belly of the Zazark, Mermista and Mer-Man both struggle to escape. The two narrowly made it out of the digestive process of stomach acids and debris earlier. Together the two head towards a destination that Mer-Man promises will be their safe exit. Mer-Man is giddy with the thought of being free and able to finally reclaim the seas as his own. Hurling an insult towards Mermista, Mer-Man croaks, "The mer-people are going to finally have to deal with payback." Mermista rolls her eyes, "I get it Mer-Man. You don't have to keep going on and on." Mer-Man stops walking and glares at her, "No you don't get it! You don't know what it is to have your land taken from you! I never had a choice or say in the matter. Your kind just showed up one day and the surface dweller Randor worked with your father to determine how the new seas would be mapped out. I was a king! I was a ruler! It was all mine!"

Mermista shakes her head, "I'm sure your ruling ways were that of a tyrant. You should be rotting in a cell somewhere." Mer-Man clenches his fists as if he is going to strike her. He refrains and spits out, "You know nothing of me as a ruler. You have no idea what it is to be alone." Mermista wants to pull her hair out, "Really? You think so? You are a screwed up bastard! Do you listen to anything that spews out of that mouth? I can't help what happened to you. I was not even a part of those actions. I can only tell you this, the mer-people were living just fine on Etheria before they had no other choice but to flee their homes from the threat of the Horde. They arrived on a new world needing a place to live. Where should they have gone? Not everyone can live on land! What would have been your solution? Would you have worked together with the mer-folk of Salineas?"

Mer-Man starts walking away trying to ignore her. Mermista follows in persistence, "Go on. Answer me Mer-Man. You are so big and bad with all your gripes, but what would you have done? Would it have ever been possible to share the seas with others? Or were you too selfish to even give that a thought?" Turning in anger, Mer-Man shouts, "I am through with you! We are almost out of here and I can't wait. I will get you out of here and take your necklace for my queen and I'll never have to deal with you or the silly mer-people again!"

Mermista pauses as her hand travels to her necklace, "Queen? Is that what you intend to do with my necklace? You are going to give this to your queen?" Mer-Man grins, "It will look far superior on Octavia." Trying not to be sick, Mermista shakes her head, "You are delusional if you believe that Octavia will be your queen. To be certain, Octavia has most likely already taken the Kingdom of Salineas for herself. She is ruthless. You think what happened to you with the mer-people was bad, well, just wait and see what Octavia is capable of."

Refusing to hear any of it, Mer-Man gurgles, "Octavia is not like that at all. She would never betray me!" Mermista shakes her head, "Just wait and see. Ya know Mer-Man, the world doesn't have to be some competition to see who can control all the resources. We can all share the sea together. It doesn't have to be this way." Mer-Man snaps, "Shut up. I'm tired of hearing you talk." Mermista rolls her eyes and they continue to walk in silence.

The two continue walking as the long chamber they are in begins to slowly close in around them. Mermista looks around wondering where they are going to go next. Space is becoming limited. Eventually the unlikely pair reach an end. Before them is a wall of squishy light pink fleshy material. Mer-Man gurgles in a huff, "We walk through that." Mermista shakes her head, "How? What is it?"

Mer-Man explains the nature of the Zazark, "Above his brain rests a giant space. In that space there should be a flap of skin that opens up every now and then. When it opens water will more than likely pour in and we will be able to swim to the top once the space is filled. Now come on, we have to go through this mass of brain matter." Mer-Man places his hands into the squishy material. He begins to slide between two pieces of thick pinkish flesh.

Taking a closer step, Mermista takes a deep breathe and walks into the pink gooey flesh. It is wet and slimy. She opens her eyes and finds herself surrounded by the layers of the fleshy material that bend and twist all around her. She can see Mer-Man slightly in front of her, so she does her best to follow him. "This way, follow me!" Mer-Man barks back at her. They travel upwards through the brain matter.

Feeling fully surrounded by the pink matter, Mermista begins to feel claustrophobic. Her heart is racing and she isn't so sure that she is going to be able to get out. Thoughts of forever being stuck in the bends and twists of matter all around her drives Mermista insane. She finds it difficult to breathe. With skin growing hot, Mermista manages to focus all her might on getting out. Breaking through to the other side, Mermista stumbles up and across a slick smooth surface of Zazark flesh.

Looking up, Mermista can see that she made it into the large space above the Zazark's brain. There is a strange circular piece of flesh that seems to move in the stillness. It opens slightly as water falls into the space. "Oh my goodness, we are almost out of here," Mermista calls out looking for Mer-Man. He is not in the space with her. Mermista looks around trying to find him. It dawns on her that Mer-Man is still in the fleshy pink brain matter.

Pausing to think of her next actions, Mermista realizes that this could actually be her chance to escape. She could leave the Zazark's body and be free. There would be no need to part with her magical necklace. Mermista looks back at the matter, contemplating her actions. Taking a step forward, Mermista heads back into the slick matter.

Feeling nothing but panic at being in the tight space again, Mermista hurries to find Mer-Man. Walking through, Mermista eventually notices Mer-Man tangled up. One of the squishy cylinders of material is wrapped around his neck. Another thought enters her mind: she could easily turn around and leave Mer-Man to die and rot inside the Zazark's brain. Mermista realizes though that that would not be fair to the Zazark.

Looping Mer-Man free, Mermista drapes an arm around his shoulder guiding him out to safety. They both fall to the ground. Mer-Man is not breathing. "Oh come on." Mermista groans as she works her magic on the evil warrior. Placing her lips against his fishy face, Mermista breathes air into his mouth. She wants to gag at the actions, but luckily Mer-Man is able to breathe on his own.

Coughing uncontrollably, Mer-Man composes himself and looks over at Mermista, "You... you... saved me." The flap above opens again as more water pours in. Mermista shakes her head, "It was nothing. Contrary to what you may think of me and my kind, I'm not a monster." Mer-Man is slightly stunned, "You could have left me in there." Mermista folds her arms, "I certainly could have couldn't I? But I didn't. This sea creature doesn't deserve that. Now can we get out of here?"

Mer-Man nods and together the two wait for the space to fill with just enough water before they can swim to the top. Waiting for just the right moment, Mermista and Mer-Man both swim through the flap finally being free of the Zazark. They are also a ways away from Salineas. Mermista is pleased to be free under the water again. She removes her necklace and hands it to Mer-Man.

Taking it from her, Mer-Man grabs her hand, "We swim to Salineas now." Mermista closes her eyes as she feels her legs bind together forming her fins. She holds back tears as she realizes that without that necklace her freedom to roam the sea and land is now over. Living so far under the water, she won't be able to see her friends and will more than likely never see Etheria again.

The pair swim in silence as each deal with the racing thoughts in their minds. Mer-Man struggles with a growing conscious. He wants to rule the seas but he isn't so sure what it will all mean to him if he rules like he did once before.

As they arrive at the palace, Mermista is saddened at the destruction around her. Sea towers are damaged. Mer-people everywhere are trying to pick up the pieces of their lives. Mer-Man still has hold of Mermista. She refuses to fight him, she is tired of it all. They arrive at their original spot before being swallowed by the Zazark.

King Mercier is sitting on the coral throne room floor as a mer-guard handles his wounds. Merlia turns to see Mermista and Mer-Man both bubbling up. Rushing towards her sister, Merlia is ready to hold onto Mermista, but refrains. Mer-Man eyes Mercier, "What is this? You were to be dead. That is my throne Mercier."

Mercier looks at his daughter with Mer-Man, "I just want my daughter to be safe. Let Mermista go and the kingdom can be yours. None of it matters if my two daughters are harmed in any way." Mermista leans her upper body on the coral steps of the throne room as her tail swirls in the water at the bottom. Mer-Man steps out of the water, "Where is Octavia?"

Merlia speaks up, "The tentacled woman left. After the Zazark ate you both she couldn't put up much more of a fight. She tried though, saying something about finally having the chance to rule something of her own. But it was more than she could handle." Mer-Man hangs his head, "So she is gone..."

Mercier stands and walks to Mer-Man, "Must we continue this? We've both caused problems. I know this. I can't keep doing this anymore. I have my daughters to think about." Mer-Man lifts his head up and gurgles, "I have no one." He glares at the king. Mermista whispers, "Mer-Man, I had no one either. I grew up thinking that those I had come from were dead. I managed though to do something else, to make a life work for me no matter what."

Mer-Man rolls his eyes, "Ha. Sweet talks mean nothing. I'll destroy you all! I'll get Skeletor to help. This will be my time!" King Mercier shakes his head, "No. I'm afraid not. Skeletor is dead." Mer-Man croaks, "Impossible." King Mercier explains, "We just received word from the surface. She-Ra has rid Eternia of Skeletor as well as the leader of the Snake Men." Mer-Man takes a step back, "Impossible. Just impossible."

Turning to leave, Mer-Man charges down the stairs. Mercier calls out to him, "It is going to be a different world now Mer-Man. I am willing to come to an agreement on the seas, a real and meaningful agreement, if you are." Mer-Man ignores the king. He steps into the water next to Mermista. Producing the necklace, Mer-Man mumbles, "Here. It is yours."

Mermista looks at him in shock. Mer-Man delicately moves her long blue hair to the side as he carefully places the necklace around her neck. Mermista whispers, "Thank you." He can only look away before descending into the water. Mermista looks at her sister and father. Rising out of the water, Mermista walks up the steps with her legs. She falls into their arms hugging them both as tight as she can.

***
Shadow Weaver stands in the shadows of Skeletor's empty throne room. She looks around the room and begins to talk, "It is safe now. You can come out." Skeletor steps out of the shadows and beckons her forward. Shadow Weaver steps towards him, "They think you are truly dead." Skeletor grins, "Excellent Shadow Weaver. And you are sure that no one else knows of my survival?" Shadow Weaver shakes her head, "I've made sure the Evil Warriors stay away from this room. And any conversations I've had with the Masters of the Universe have been held else where. So what is next? What do we do now?"

Skeletor looks around his throne room, "It is like I said before, I think I am done with this place. With all of it." Skeletor throws his arms open around him, "I want a change. A great big change." Shadow Weaver nods, "I am here to assist you in any way." Skeletor nods, "Wonderful Shadow Weaver. I want us to leave this place, to leave this world. Can you do that?" Shadow Weaver nods, "Yes Skeletor. I can find us elsewhere and no one would be the wiser."

Grinning, Skeletor grabs hold of her, "We shall be off then. But before we go, I want to take care of something. In private." Shadow Weaver rasps, "I understand Skeletor. I shall return soon." Shadow Weaver floats out of the throne room.

Skeletor stands tall. He thinks about his past in this throne room and the significance of it all. This has been his home. He slightly twitches his face at the thought that he will never see Evil-Lyn again nor most of his Evil Warriors. He is going to embark on a new journey. One that he will share with Shadow Weaver. "I never would have expected this." Skeletor says aloud before turning back to the shadows chanting, "Scare Glow!"

The familiar ghost travels through the walls, heading towards Skeletor, "You called my name?" Skeletor nods, "Yes. We need to talk. I'm leaving Snake Mountain and Eternia. I don't know when I will return, if ever. The world thinks I'm dead, and they are going to continue that assumption. I want you to be in charge. I want you to be my evil ghost."

Scare Glow grins, "What do you mean exactly?" Skeletor folds his arms across his chest, "I mean that the rest of the world is going to think I am truly dead. You are going to be my ghost, seeking to frighten and terrify those who would dare try to take this place for their own. That goes for those who are good as well as my evil warriors. With me gone, I know there will be a few trying to take my place. Strike fear into them, let my memory live on."

"Of course Skeletor, but there is just one problem. For some reason I am only to remain in Snake Mountain. I have tried to leave, but I cannot. My ghostly presence seems to prevent that." Skeletor simply shrugs, "Why would you want to leave? Everything you could possibly want is right here in Snake Mountain. There is a treasure. And there will be some who will continue to serve you. Just remember who you serve." Scare Glow nods, "I serve you Lord Skeletor." The evil lord of destruction grins in delight, "Precisely. Now go and await my departure. This will all be yours..."

In another section of Snake Mountain, Shadow Weaver approaches the remaining Evil Warriors including Octavia and Scorpia. Shadow Weaver pulls the two other Horde women aside, "Hurry, there isn't much time." Scorpia and Octavia look at each other in suspicion. Walking away from the group, Shadow Weaver turns to the women, "I'm leaving. And with my departure there will be no other chance for you to leave this world. I can quickly open a portal and send you both back to Etheria." Scorpia scrunches her face, "What about you? Where are you going?"

Shadow Weaver waves her hands in the air, "Do not concern yourself with me. I will be fine. Now hurry, do you wish to stay here or return to Etheria?" Octavia smirks, "I'm ready now. Take me back to Etheria." Scorpia pauses and looks back towards Clawful and the other Evil Warriors. She isn't so sure she can leave, but does she have much choice? Shadow Weaver rasps, "Come now, hurry with your minds."

Scorpia whispers, "Can we at least say goodbye?" Shadow Weaver snaps, "What do you think this is? Some sort of whimsical tale? There are no neatly wrapped goodbyes. I open this portal now or never. Now make a decision." Octavia and Scorpia both agree. Shadow Weaver grins in approval while swirling a portal open.

Further down the Evil Warriors begin to notice something going on. Clawful looks at the group, "What is that? Hey, what is this!" Clawful shouts to the women. The swirling portal opens, as Octavia and Scorpia prepare to walk through. Shadow Weaver calls out one last thing, "If you find Catra, give her this message." Shadow Weaver hands a piece of paper to Octavia. Nodding with the paper, Octavia steps through. Scorpia is next and she turns one last time to look back at Clawful running towards her. Throwing herself backwards into the portal, Scorpia is gone.

Clawful shouts her name. He doesn't understand. Shadow Weaver grins and is about to close the portal before she hears a familiar hissing sound. Crying out in shock, Shadow Weaver falls to the ground as two Snake Men lunge themselves through the portal as well. Rattlor and Tung Lashor jump through the portal from a ledge above Shadow Weaver. Both have been spying on the group. Seeking a chance of escape, the two Snake Men make it through the portal as it closes quickly behind them.

The evil warriors rush towards Shadow Weaver demanding answers. In a quick flash, Shadow Weaver releases a flurry of smoke and disappears.

Reappearing in Skeletor's throne room, Shadow Weaver rasps out, "Are you ready Skeletor?" Turning to see her love, Shadow Weaver holds out her hand as Skeletor approaches, "Yes Weaver. It is time to leave. Where are we off too?" Shadow Weaver rasps, "Wherever you would like." Skeletor ponders that statement and laughs, "I've always been curious about visiting space..." Shadow Weaver nods, "As you wish. I know just the place to go..." The mistress of dark magic swirls open a portal and together with Skeletor they walk through to an all new destination...

Heroes gather at the Eternos Palace in a manner befitting a seemingly nice ending to many people's problems. Eternia is overjoyed that Skeletor is seemingly dead, his Evil Warriors mostly disbanded. Adora removes her She-Ra persona and engages in smiles and hugs with her friends. Castaspella is saddened by recent events, however it feels good to finally be free of Snake Mountain. Perfuma and Netossa talk to Eternians, relishing in the moments of meeting new people. Perfuma steals a few moments with Man-E-Faces, still curious about his powers.

Attention is given as Mermista walks slowly into the palace to find her friends. Grinning through her pain, Mermista explains to her friends what she has been through as she also learns what occurred during her absence.

After sharing a drink with Fisto, Sea Hawk finds himself busy feeding his pet mouse in all the excitement, though his eyes fall upon Adora quite a few times. He so badly wants to talk to her, but refrains. Adora is happy, the world is finally starting to make sense. She is with Bow, and together things seem perfect. Sea Hawk has no idea though that underneath the smiles and kisses resides something restless. Adora may be happy next to Bow, but they still need to have a conversation that might change everything.

The other heroes are involved in their regular concerns. Teela is in a full fledged relationship with Sy-Klone again after all this time. She finds herself to be content, but something is missing. Maybe it has something to do with Adam/He-Man still living on Etheria. Duncan continues to work hard in his lab with the portal key. His hope is to have the portal between Eternia and Etheria open very soon. Orko does his best to help.

Other members of the Royal Guard talk and reminisce about scarier times. Stratos and Mekaneck discuss methods in which to capture the remaining Snake Men. Ram Man is still smitten with Netossa while Clamp Champ can't quite seem to shake the magical beauty of Castaspella. He is thankful that she saved his life. Rio Blast and Buzz Off enjoy in all the revelry.

Queen Marlena looks on at the crowd gathered round. There are tears in her eyes. Tears of happiness and sadness. Marlena is happy to have her daughter home, but the queen also misses her son and wishes that the king would wake from his wounds. She wonders how her life is going to be if Randor never wakes up.

Above all the excitement, in the king's room, Randor continues to rest. The wounds inflicted upon by Skeletor are all but healed. The king still sleeps though. Something magical suddenly happens. His hands and fingers twitch ever so slightly. There is a rumble throughout his body. It appears that King Randor is on the cusp of finally waking...

While life on Eternia seems to be good, there is a different story unfolding on Etheria. Frosta continues to lay up in her bed in Bright Moon. The icy empress refuses to leave her room. Her depression at her life circumstances is crippling. Refusing most visitors, Frosta will only allow a select few in to see her, and they cannot be sick to their stomachs.

Flutterina still receives speech lessons from Roboto. The two are actually quite close from the time they share together. The winged beauty also continues to feel sick and slightly panics when she notices that her stomach is sticking out a little more than usual. Trying to understand what is happening, Flutterina can only hope and wish that she can be normal like the other members of the Great Rebellion.

He-Man continues his efforts to woo Sweet Bee, or at least to understand why things have been different since they kissed. Sweet Bee on the other hand whole heartedly wants to avoid the situation at all costs. She isn't sure where her feelings should be with the muscle man, but if the lousy kiss is any indication, Sweet Bee is afraid she is going to have to hurt his feelings.

Glimmer works with former Horde members Romeo and Mantenna. The imprisoned members of the Horde are pulling their weight and actually becoming a part of Bright Moon society. Children are no longer fearful of Mantenna's appearance while Romeo and Glimmer become very close to one another, much to Angella's chagrin. Angella is concerned for her daughter. The winged angellic Queen of Bright Moon can only hope that a romance does not develop between Glimmer and Romeo, even though the blossoms of romance are all ready to bloom.

Spinnerella contemplates visiting her old home town to see how her family and Netossa's family have been doing. The fear of their disapproval is too much for the dizzying defender to stand, so Spinnerella simply stays behind in Bright Moon. Visiting Madame Razz helps as the old witchy woman is full of wisdom and sage advice. Spinnerella is finding her place.

The Star Sisters continue to hide out in Bright Moon fearful of the growing threat of Ultimera. They work with Peekablue and Kowl on ancient texts and other magical powers to try and find the location of the evil sorceress. Peekablue is exhausted from trying to peek in on the rest of the world. Ultimera is too strong and too tricky. The watchful friend of the Rebellion simply cannot locate Ultimera.

In other sections of Etheria, Catra and her partner in evil, Entrapta, slink their way into the abandoned Fright Zone. They make their way to Horror Hall looking for something. The emptiness of the Fright Zone is strange and the two women can only hope that they find some sort of clue as to what they should be doing next.

Back at the Sun Tower though, Hordak continues to wait for other Horde members to arrive. Sitting on his new throne for the time being, Hordak snorts, "Modulok! Fetch me more scraps for my pet Imp. He is hungry." Hordak rubs Imp's scaly head. The tiny dragon snorts in reply. Hordak can only smile with glee.

Modulok follows his orders and prepares to find some food. As he is about to leave, the large gilded doors of the Sun Tower throw themselves open as Ultimera walks through. Leech and Grizzlor both walk out from their posts, peering curiously at the woman with silver hair. Her inky purple eyes pulsate in madness.

Ignoring the two Horde members, Ultimera simply glides past. Modulok looks on as Ultimera steps towards the gilded throne. She looks up at Hordak with a blank face, "Have you seen my sword?" Hordak's eyes narrow as Ultimera patiently awaits an answer. Hordak can only smile. Standing tall, he snorts, "And who might you be?" Ultimera talks calmly, "I am the owner of the Chaos Sword. Do you have it? Something tells me you do..."

Hordak pulls out the powerful Chaos Sword, "The only sword I have, is this one. Is this the sword you seek?" Ultimera feels her magical energy crackling all around her, "Give me back my sword." Hordak snorts, "I've long wanted a special sword of my own. Sorry, but I think I'm going to keep this one. If you want it so badly, come and get it." Ultimera screams as her magical energy becomes to much to contain, "Certainly!" The room begins to shake and tremble. Grizzlor and Leech slowly make their way to the exit. Modulok hurries to find Multi Bot. As Hordak and Ultimera charge towards each other, Huntara continues to look on and observe in the shadows, taking note of everything...

The Magic of Sea Foam, and Why I Won't Eat Sea Food

I am going to give this a try, so let's hope that I don't muck it up. (Because I muck a lot of things up.) Anyways, this is my first post that is connected with the League of Extraordinary Bloggers. Each week a topic is posted on Cool & Collected, and if you choose to take on the latest mission, you post it and share it. I am of course making it sound very vague and mysterious, but this is my first time.

Anyways, the topic for the week was originally about a favorite movie from your childhood, but then it became a more open ended topic with the simple sentence of- When I was a kid my favorite __________ was _________.

So stuff like that requires some time to marinate, because at the end of the day everything was my favorite something or another as a kid. But I have always had this one favorite thing as a kid and it is tied to everything. (It is actually not She-Ra. I know. Stop the presses.) When I was a kid, my favorite story was The Mermaid (or The Little Mermaid) by Hans Christian Andersen.

Granted the Disney movie would definitely become my favorite movie, but there was something just magical and utterly heartbreaking about the original Little Mermaid. I think part of it had to do with my grandfather. I never got the chance to meet him, as he had passed away a few years before I was born. However my mom always had stories to tell about him. He had been an important presence in her life and upon hearing so many stories about him, I found myself feeling honored to hear the stories yet sad that we were never fated to meet.

One such story my mom would tell me involved my grandfather and his time spent fishing. He was a war veteran so fishing was one of the few hobbies that was not stressful for him. He couldn't handle hunting or anything with sudden loud noises. So as the story goes, when he would go fishing he'd come up against a dry patch where the fish just weren't biting. In those moments he'd beg for some help and low and behold there would be mermaids in the water to either keep him company with a funny joke or song, or to coax some fish into taking the bait.

I would always respond to this story with, "Mom, is that true? Did Grand Daddy Mark talk to the mermaids?" And my mom would say, "Of course he would. They'd help him with fishing and make sure he came back home safely." I couldn't help but believe. So from then on mermaids were my favorite. I believed that they existed and I wanted so badly to be one myself. Even now as I navigate through my thirties, I kinda like to think I come from a long line of mermaids. This is one reason why I refuse to eat seafood. The other reason is that I find seafood to be disgusting. However it irks me when people groan, "Why won't you eat seafood? You are so picky!" Simply responding with, "I don't eat seafood because I refuse to eat folks from my kingdom," really works to get people off my back. I digress.

Anyways, one day when I was about 3 or 4, my mom bought me The Little Mermaid on account that I was mermaid obsessed. (It was an adapted version of the Hans Christian Andersen tale, but very faithful to the original.) I made her, or my dad, read that story to me every night, and every night I'd hope that the mermaid's fate would turn out differently. I hoped that she'd fall in love with her prince and finally get her soul. And when she wouldn't, when she would sacrifice her life for the prince, when her body would become sea foam, I would just cry. It just seemed like such an unfortunate fate.

It was an important story that has been by far my favorite, as a child and as an adult. Being a child of the 80's was also the perfect time to be a fan of mermaids too. Not only was there the Disney Little Mermaid movie (I fondly recall being highly stressed at how Disney was going to handle the ending) there was also Mermista from She-Ra. And with so many toy lines with fantasy inspired characters, a dorkette like myself had plenty of mermaid items to collect at that time. Now I can only hope that mermaids have a much needed resurgence in pop culture. (Fingers crossed for that Mermista in Masters of the Universe Classics.) So I'm just about done rambling, enjoy some images of my Mermaid favorites from my own collection:

My favorite story as a kid.
Kenner's sequel to SeeWees: Shimmers! A mer-mother/daughter duo that was a favorite.
The most bad ass mermaiden this side of Crystal Falls: Mermista!
Be sure to check out these other bloggers and their favorites from more youthful times, Calvin's Canadian Cave of Cool is always full of informative topics and his favorite childhood topic is very interesting.

Rich discusses various topics full of Fortune and Glory, but his favorite childhood topic is chock full of fun photos and other fun stuff.

I've only just recently been checking out all the geeky goodness at Goodwill Hunting 4 Geeks, but Maine talks about a favorite childhood topic that is super fun. Plus check out that collection!

Finally for a look at some major Masters of the Universe love, check out Chris Lockhart's Random Nerdness for a fun look at his favorite childhood topic.

I am very thrilled to be a part of the League of Extraordinary Bloggers, and I really hope I didn't muck this up. I hope everyone is doing well, and get ready folks! She-Ra Saturday is just around the corner!!!

March 2013 Woman of Wonderosity!

Before I made a mockery of journalism with my ill fated interview with this month's Heroic Hottie, I was given the chance to let my inner dorkette shine with a special invitation to interview the original woman of wonderosity, that woman of super strength, speed, and agility. This woman knows that having stylish accessories is only truly stylish if they can also deflect bullets. It is with great honor and dorkiness that I present to you the March 2013 Woman of Wonderosity: Wonder Woman!

March 2013 Woman of Wonderosity

Upon finding out from April O'Neil that Wonder Woman was being talked about for this month's W.O.W, I knew I had to be a part of it. This is Wonder Woman we are talking about! For all intensive purposes, she is the first female super hero. There may have been a few before her, and certainly many after, but honestly when I think of the original female hero, it is Wonder Woman.

So after sealing the interview and promising my mentor April O'Neil that I wouldn't screw this one up, I journeyed in a rental (my car was still trashed from that trip to Oz) to meet the phenomenal Wonder Woman.

Diary of a Dorkette: I don't usually freak out when I interview plastic action heroes, but I am just freaking out. I mean, it's you! Wonder Woman! And I'm here, inside... what appears to be... how exactly are we in the Hall of Justice circa 1984?

Wonder Woman: Oh Miss M, due to a lengthy contract with DC, the DC Universe is obligated to preserve the details of every building we inhabit from every era. Now that the Hall of Justice has been renovated, the older structure was just moved into an Archival Dimension.
Diary: That sounds very complicated. Let's just go back to my excitement over finally getting to meet you.
WW: It is nice to meet you too! I greatly enjoy what you do, I think it is fantastic that you travel all over the universe to meet with such heroic people. Although I happen to recall a certain topic you started about me awhile ago... what was it called? I believe you were trying to determine if one of my looks was Trashy or Timeless? I believe you said I was Trashy.
Diary: (slightly embarrassed) Oh yes. That piece. Well I seem to recall saying that you personally was not Trashy. It was more like that Cirque du Soleil Pink Sapphire outfit and the fact that your television series was scrapped before it could even begin. I'm happy to say though that you've totally rebounded from that messy Sapphire look. I quite love your new outfit, I think it is Timeless.

WW: Thank you. I think.
Diary: So let's change the subject. There is far more about you than an outfit. What have you been up to?
WW: Goodness, that is a loaded question. Let's see. I've been overseeing a revival of the Wonder Woman comic. I've also been in top secret talks to try and get another new show started up. Of course I've also been busy trying to save the world. I lead a very busy life.
Diary: You're telling me! It sounds like you are very busy. But there is one thing you didn't really mention, and you know I'm going to call you out on it.
WW: Oh no. I know where this is going...

Diary: Well come on! You are dating freakin Superman! I mean where do I even begin? Those arms and that curl of hair that swoops so sexily across his forehead. Oh he is like a dream come true... in spandex!
WW: Calm down dorkette! He is just a man.
Diary: A man with the word super attached to it. What is it like dating him?
WW: It is interesting. I'm not used to dating another super hero. It has taken some getting used to.
Diary: What are some things that you have had to get used to?
WW: Plenty. We both come with obscene amounts of baggage. It is crazy how many villains want us both dead. No matter how we may try to have a nice romantic meal together or maybe we just want to have one of those lazy Saturdays, more times than not we end up in some long story arc trying to save the world. Or our own lives.

Diary: Ok, tell me something. What happens when Superman and you move in together? Like who does the dishes or takes out the trash? How does that even work?
WW: I don't think we'll have problems with that. He moves so fast, he can get the housework done in 5 seconds flat. He is really fast.
Diary: Slow down now girl! I hope he isn't fast in other ways.
WW: (Laughing) No. He knows how to slow things down when he needs to.
Diary: Wow. I so wish I was a super hero dating another super hero.
WW: Trust me M, it is not all it is cracked up to be.
Diary: What about the movies? Is it hard to see Superman jump starting yet another film franchise and yet there is no word at all of when we can expect to see you on the big screen?
WW: I'm certainly supportive of him. I'm very thrilled that he is going to be in a big summer movie. He has worked hard to have this moment. Again.

Diary: Maybe so, but what about your moment? I mean there just seems to be this continued love affair with super heroes at the multiplex, but what about your movie?
WW: It is so funny that you bring that up. The other day Superman and I were shopping at Target for some things, and he wanted to stop by the toy aisle to check out what was all available. He was just in awe, more so because he knew that in a few months we'd be seeing a ton of toys in his likeness.
Diary: That must be a strange feeling.
WW: It was slightly surreal, but Superman was a little sad. He was looking at all those super hero figures and he looked at me and said, 'You should be on these pegs too. I wish this was your time.'
Diary: Oh my goodness that was a sweet thing to say.
WW: I know. He is a really great person to be in a relationship with.
Diary: Sounds like it. I think he is on to something too, I would love nothing more than to see a nice Wonder Woman toy line in stores.
WW: It has been attempted before, but nothing ever came to fruition. I think toy companies are firmly rooted in the idea that girls want nothing to do with super heroes. You know the old saying, boys want to wield swords while girls can only wield a comb.

Diary: Which couldn't be further from the truth! I mean look at She-Ra. She was able to use a sword and have impeccable hair.
WW: I know, believe me, I know. I think that toy companies underestimate collectors a great deal.
Diary: I just hope that we get to see a nice big splashy Wonder Woman movie one day, with an accompanying toy line.
WW: It would be nice. I'm sure it will happen.
Diary: What do you want your legacy to be?

WW: Oh goodness, I am not sure. I think when it comes down to it, I would want my legacy to be that of a true champion for everyone. I want to be the one who stands up to make sure everyone is treated fairly, equally, and with justice for all.
Diary: And that perfectly sums up why you are the March 2013 Woman of Wonderosity!
WW: Thank you M, I must say it is an honor. Being a part of this blog is something I can check off on my list.
Diary: Wow, I can't believe that this blog would be something on your list to be checked off! Now I'm the one who is honored!
WW: Now we just need to find a way to get my movie made.
Diary: Totally! I'm thinking we could kidnap all the male super heroes leaving no other choice but to start on your own awesome theater masterpiece!

WW: Hmm, I like where your head is at. I can see it now, Wonder Woman Summer 2024.
Diary: Let's hope not. I'll be an old fossil by then.
WW: Not if we don't get you some cybernetic implants to keep you going well past your prime.
Diary: Now you just sound like an ex of mine.
WW: Ha. Let's not get started on the topic of exes.
Diary: I know. That's a whole other interview all together. Well, Wonder Woman, it has been a joy.
WW: Agreed. We must do this again soon...

March 2013 Woman of Wonderosity

What a super hero. Just a total joy. A big thanks to Wonder Woman for taking the time to talk to me. I don't think I screwed this one up. April O'Neil should be proud. So everyone enjoy the photos of this month's W.O.W. and never go far. This weekend will be an all new Adora's Search for Honor! Is Skeletor truly dead? What do you really think? Take care everyone!

March 2013 Heroic Hottie

So when I was getting ready to write about this week's Toy Chest Tuesday I heard this voice message on my phone, "Miss M, it's April O'Neil. I've got a story for you, so nix the Toy Chest Tuesday for the week because no one gives two cents. Now I'm going to send you special coordinates for your next assignment since you nearly blew it last June. Make it count, and listen girl, try not to drool too much. Kay?"

Like I've said before, no one says no to April, especially when she is one's mentor. After doing my best to figure out the special coordinates for this month's Heroic Hottie, I went on my way to interview a Real Plastic American Hero!

March 2013 Heroic Hottie

Diary of a Dorkette: Hello Joe Colton. It is nice to finally meet you.
Joe Colton: Yeah kid, nice to meet you too.
Diary: It is very interesting, I've talked to a few other Joes, and they all say that you are the original G.I. Joe. I thought you would be much taller...

Joe: I get that a lot.
Diary: Well let's talk the new G.I. Joe movie. Ya know, last June I interviewed your co-star Roadblock, and it was a bittersweet interview. He had been so pumped for the new G.I. Joe movie, but it got pushed back. A Cobra conspiracy quickly followed, so what can you tell us? Will G.I. Joe Retaliation actually make it to theaters this week?
Joe: I can say with all sincerity, that G.I. Joe Retaliation will be in theaters on March 29th. Cobra will not be interfering at all.
Diary: How is Roadblock doing? That had been an unpredictable interview, I hope he is ok.
Joe: He is fine. The Joes never let Cobra win.
Diary: That makes sense. What kind of world would it be if Cobra actually won? Anyways, I am just thrilled that you are the March Heroic Hottie. I normally interview young buff super heroes or guys from other planets, but Joe Colton, you are a cat daddy!
Joe: Yeah, about all that, why am I taking pictures with these?

Diary: Oh! The lollipops. Yes. Well, earlier in the month I interviewed the Wicked Witch of the West, and while taking a tour of Oz, the Lollipop Guild sent me home with some treats. I thought it would be a gas to show you using candy by way of a weapon instead of all those cumbersome guns.
Joe: But I came here with an assortment of guns and missiles. I thought I would be posing with my guns.
Diary: Well... there was just a change in plans. I mean Dum-Dums pack a powerful punch.
Joe: This is pink.

Diary: Hey now! Don't be disgusted. There is nothing wrong with the color pink. Don't make me call Zarana on you.
Joe: Do you work for Cobra?
Diary: Oh God no. They wouldn't hire me if I wanted to. Rumor has it that the Baroness destroys all applications from female Cobra applicants. Something about protecting Destro's wandering eye or something. Besides, I'm not much for being a villain.
Joe: Right. I thought this interview was going to be about me?

Diary: Well of course it is! Who else would it be about? Ya know... I can't help but think I've seen you in other things before?
Joe: Aside from my extensive work in the field, I have also lent my dashing good looks to film.
Diary: I don't really watch a lot of action films, so I don't think I've seen you in movies.
Joe: Kid, I'm sure you've seen me in films. I'm not just an action movie star though. I've been in all kinds of films.
Diary: You don't really strike me as someone who would star in other genres.
Joe: Let me school you on something kid, I've done plenty of films. I've starred in romances...

Joe: I was a romantic leading man long before I ever blasted my way through an exploding building.
Diary: Some would say it isn't much of a stretch to act in a romance or an action flick.
Joe: True, they can both be a living hell. But how about this, I've appeared in a few period pieces...

Diary: Yuck. I really hate period pieces. I mean what makes someone think they know what life was like hundreds of years ago? I mean I'm fairly certain that implants, injectables, muscles, and old people weren't hanging around in 1642, ya know what I mean?
Joe: No, not really. Has anyone ever told you that you talk a terrible lot?
Diary: Yes. Yes. Yes. They also say I hardly ever make any sense too.
Joe: I can see that. But, I've also been in westerns...

Joe: Err, it was more like a southwestern trip on acid.
Diary: Now I'd see that! But preposterous stories aside, you aren't really a movie star until you've appeared in some good science fiction. Have you ever been in anything sci-fi?
Joe: It's entirely possible...

Joe: Am I going to get the chance to pose with my guns?
Diary: Why are you so obsessed with wanting to pose with your obnoxiously large guns? Don't you know how that makes you look?
Joe: Bad ass? A real winner?

Diary: No. Hardly. It makes you look like you aren't packing anything in other areas. If you can catch my drift.
Joe: Please. People don't think that.
Diary: Well maybe not other members in your team, but I can guarantee you, I think that way. And if I think that way, I highly doubt I am alone.

Joe: Oh kid, I need to fire my agent. I keep getting involved with the shittiest interviews.
Diary: Ok, so maybe I am slightly annoying. But you have to admit, this is a far better interview than the one I did with Roadblock. So far there hasn't even been a peep from Cobra!
Joe: That isn't a really great form of measurement.
Diary: Anyways, what do you think people will come to expect from G.I. Joe Retaliation?
Joe: A lot of explosions. Great action. The eternal struggle between good and evil. And ninjas. Lots of ninjas. 2012 was supposed to be the year of the ninja, but it just got moved back to 2013.
Diary: Such a strange time to be a part of pop culture.
Joe: Your tellin me. Listen kid, this interview has been really... well it was really something for sure. Anyways, I'm getting a call that Cobra is up to something bothersome. So we need to cut this short.
Diary: Oh. Of course. I understand. I really appreciate you wanting to be interviewed. I'll be sure to let you know when the interview is posted!
Joe: Nah, don't bother with that. I'll be in an area where I won't, um, have Internet access or something.
Diary: Oh. I understand. Well be careful!
Joe: Yeah. Sure thing kid. Say, can I take some of these Dum-Dums with me?
Diary: Sure, I don't see why not.
Joe: Perfect. Let's see if these bad boys can do some damage.

In a flash, Joe Colton zoomed off to supposedly take care of the Cobra menace. With the interview officially over, I went off to eat some Dum-Dums and listen to a new, rather lengthy, voice mail from April, "M. I just got off the phone with Joe Colton. He hated meeting you. Just hated you from head to toe. He firmly believes you are either dead or a vampire. He doesn't trust your pale skin and he is planning on suing if the Dum-Dums mess up his plans against Cobra or the outcome of the box office for the new G.I. Joe movie. I'm not sure what that exactly means, but you better hope he doesn't sue. I don't know what we are going to do, you keep going into these interviews, and I just never know what people are going to say after you are done with them. Listen he said all will be forgiven if you can at least try to get him a date with Jem. I know, I know, Jem would never go for a guy that barely comes up to her knee, but just humor the man. And while you are at it, let's have a girl's night. I know where we can get some good pizza. This month has been rough, let me tell you..." The voice mail ended with a beep.

So with an all new Heroic Hottie officially over and done with, I have just one thing left to say. Be sure to check out G.I. Joe Retaliation this Friday, March 29th. Hopefully it will be entertaining. If not, I might be sued. That job with Cobra is looking better and better.

March 2013 Heroic Hottie

March isn't over yet. We've got one more interview left, and it is going to be truly wonderful! Hope everyone is doing well.

Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 54!

The ultimate battle against the Snake Men is just mere sentences away! Who will stop this slithery menace? Will Castaspella be saved? Will Serpos finally be released to gobble up all of Eternia before laying his waste into an all new Snake World?

Previously: Scare Glow helped Skeletor out of his makeshift prison cell in Snake Mountain. Chaos was the order of the day as the Snake Men were inching closer to their plans for world domination at the hunger of Serpos. She-Ra and her friends arrived in the nick of time to try and stop these most foul beasts... Castaspella found herself on the wrong side of the snake as she became the latest offering for the deadly Serpos... On Etheria, Flutterina wasn't feeling well and threw up all over Frosta's bedroom floor. Frosta was far from thrilled... Under the Eternian seas, Mermista wanted to save her sister from the clutches of Mer-Man but the war at Salineas took a sharp turn to crazy as a giant Zazark (a spiky whale-like creature) swallowed up Mer-man and Mermista whole!

And now...

Adora's Search for Honor
Part 3
Chapter 54

Skeletor slinks around the dark and winding passageways of Snake Mountain with Scare Glow at his side. "Listen to me Scare Glow! I want you to stay in the shadows!" The evil ghost pauses, "But I seek to serve you Skeletor." Skeletor grins, "And serve me you shall! I do not want anyone to know of your existence for the time being. Stay in the shadows, keep an eye out on things. I will call for you when I need you. Run along and find that treasure..." Skeletor is trying to distract Scare Glow, to keep the ghost occupied.

Scare Glow nods, relishing the chance to find the great hidden treasure inside of Snake Mountain. "Simply call my name Lord Skeletor and I shall appear." Scare Glow turns away and drifts through a rocky wall. Skeletor grins, "I never grow tired of being called Lord Skeletor."

The master of evil destruction continues to walk the dreary passageways of Snake Mountain winding his way until he finds a familiar friend. Shadow Weaver is walking the same passageway and notices him approaching. "Weaver. What are you still doing here? Where are my Evil Warriors?"

Shadow Weaver glides in front of him rasping, "The smelly one is trying to save that nuisance Castaspella. As for your warrior with the jaw, he is trying to save the other warriors from being feasted upon by the Snake Men." Skeletor peers at her, "And what of you? What are you doing?" Shadow Weaver's yellow eyes glow bright in the dreary space, "I came looking for you. It would seem though that you do not require rescue from the prison cell." Skeletor folds his arms over his chest, "Of course not! No silly cell can hold me back. I am free. The Snake Men must pay."

Nodding in agreement, Shadow Weaver nods, "You should follow me, I will lead you to them. We can stop them together..." She looks at him wanting to see if there will be any confirmation that he will indeed join her. Skeletor stares at her for a brief moment, many thoughts race through his mind. Finally he has an answer, "Yes. Let's do that. Let's stop the Snake Men." They walk away together. For Shadow Weaver, this moment is everything to her. To be this close to the only man she has ever loved. If nothing ever happens between them again, she knows all will be content if they can do this one thing together: destroy the Snake Men.

In another section of Snake Mountain, She-Ra and her friends are making their way towards Castaspella's screams. She-Ra looks back at the group, "We shook off those other Snake Men, but we must be careful. We have no idea what we are going to deal with next." The princess of power looks over at Clamp Champ, "Champ, you are familiar with the layout, are we still heading in the right direction?" Clamp Champ nods, "Yes. We just need to wind our way up and we'll be at the top." She-Ra and Clamp Champ walk further ahead as Teela, Bow, Netossa and Sea Hawk follow close in the middle with Perfuma and Man-E-Faces trailing from behind.

Netossa breaks away from the group and talks to Perfuma and Man-E-Faces. "Perfuma, what have we gotten ourselves into?" Netossa asks still disturbed by the fight against some of the Snake Men. Perfuma gasps, "I know! Those beasts were hideous. I bet they've never seen a flower in their lives." Netossa shakes her head, "I suppose. Something tells me though that flowers are the last thing they are wanting to see." Netossa tilts her head towards Perfuma and hurries to walk back to the middle of the group.

Perfuma and Man-E-Faces continue to walk together. She is wanting to ask him something, but she is afraid she'll look silly. Man-E-Faces notices the scentful blond staring at him, "Do you have something to say miss?" Perfuma blushes slightly, "I'm just Perfuma. I do have something to ask of you though... your ability to change your face... could you mimic anybody in appearance and voice?" Her eyes dazzle with wonder. Curious for his answer, Perfuma smiles slightly once Man-E-Faces says, "Yes. I can mimic faces both physical and verbal." Perfuma nods.

"Why do you ask such a thing?" He asks with a bit of his own curiosity. Perfuma shrugs, "Oh I don't know. I just want to see some one's face, but that might be too strange! Never mind!" Perfuma hurries off to catch up to the rest of the group, her thoughts of Moss Man drifting off into the air. Man-E-Faces follows by himself, thinking that the flower maiden is rather strange.

Catching up to Netossa, Bow, Sea Hawk, and Teela, Perfuma looks over at Netossa, "I know we are about to face off against deadly creepy snake guys, but I do wish Mermista was here." Netossa nods, "I wish the same thing." Bow looks back at his friends and adds, "I wonder where she is at anyway..."

***
In another more secluded location on Eternia, Mermista rolls over on a squishy bed of fleshy wetness. There is a slimy stringy splatter of goo covering parts of her body. "What is this?" Her eyes focus and she notices that she is inside a large cavernous space. Everything seems to be moving. Steadying herself, Mermista stands wondering if she is alone. A strange smell fills the space, burning her nostrils. Mermista takes a few steps trying to get used to the movement underneath her feet. "Where am I?"

A voice croaks out into the darkness, "You are in the belly of the Zazark. Or rather, we are." Mermista turns to face Mer-Man, "How do we get out of here?" Mer-Man walks closer to her chuckling, "There is no escaping the insides of this beast."

Mermista refuses to listen to the Evil Warrior, "This Zazark is a living creature. All living creatures have entrance and exit points. I am sure we can find a way out of here. Preferably not from an exit point." Shaking off the grossness of that thought, Mermista continues to steady her feet. Mer-Man chuckles again, "You are foolish girl. In only a moment's time acids will drip and pour into this cavity eating away at our flesh. We'll be digested alive."

Raising an eyebrow, Mermista smirks, "You talk as if you've been in this situation before. I can't believe you would just give up like that. You haven't even finished your pathetic attempt at taking over my father's kingdom. I don't think you are going to give up that easily..."

Mer-Man snaps at her, "Don't dare presume to know what my motives would ever be. That kingdom was mine! All mine! I control the seas!" Mermista rolls her eyes, "I don't care. You talk all this nonsense about what was taken from you, but none of that matters right now! We are going to die! I am not going to die inside a giant sea creature." She stands tall trying to regain her balance. Mermista is starting to panic.

The fishy evil warrior stares at her, "There might be a way out of here." Mermista glares at him, "Well alright. Out with it. How can we get out of here?" Mer-Man gurgles yet again, "No one said anything about you getting out of here." Mer-Man turns to walk off, presumably towards a proper exit. Mermista tries to catch up, "Wait, what are you doing? Stop, I refuse to die in here!" He ignores her, which only unnerves her further. Forming a giant bubble with her hands, Mermista hurls it towards Mer-Man's back.

Falling onto the Zazark's stomach lining, Mer-Man shouts, "What was that for?" Mermista strides towards him, "You will not leave me here alone! As much as I detest all of your actions, I will be with you through this. I am not, and I repeat, I am not going to die in here!" He realizes she is deadly serious.

With a quick swoop of his hands at the mer-maiden, Mer-Man sighs, "I'll help you out of here, but it is going to cost you." Mermista stands still, "What do you mean?" Mer-Man gathers close to her, breathing into her neck, "I mean that I want something." She closes her eyes slightly shaking. She isn't sure how far this can go. Mer-Man slides some of Mermista's blue hair to the side, "Don't worry, I don't want much. Just your necklace."

Mermista opens her eyes, "What?" Mer-Man sighs, "You heard me. I want your necklace." Her hands flutter towards her chest. She clutches the special necklace around her neck, "I'll give you anything else, but I can't part with this. Please." Mer-Man looks into her eyes, "What is so special that you can't part with this lovely piece of jewelry?"

Mermista shakes her head, "It is an heirloom. This necklace was forged with the magical powers of sea foam." Mer-Man laughs at her, "There is no magic in sea foam. What type of lie is this you try to give me?" Mermista holds her head high, "I read over various carvings in the ruins of the Salineas on Etheria. I had an aunt from many generations past who wanted nothing more than to walk. The original mer-people of Salineas could not change their sea legs into walking legs. But this aunt, she wanted the ability to use real legs no matter what. She got that wish, only to lose it. She sacrificed her life and freedom to save her love. Once she died her body became magical sea foam. Her sisters gathered the sea foam and forged some of it into pieces of magical jewelry. Only a few were given this jewelry and it was passed down from generation to generation. I was granted this necklace once I was born and it has allowed me the privilege to live underwater as well as the freedom to roam the land. If I give this necklace to you... I will be forsaking my freedom. I will be unable to be truly free. It will go against everything she died for... please..."

She begs of him, knowing it will not matter. Mer-Man shakes his head, "A lovely story, but I do not care at all. You either give me the necklace and we leave, or you stick around here ready to be digested. Your call mer-woman." Mermista hangs her head in sadness. She isn't sure what to do. Looking at her unlikely companion on a most strange journey, Mermista points a finger at him, "Fine! I'll give you the necklace, but only once we leave this beast. Not a second before." Mer-Man gurgles with accomplishment. Mermista wonders exactly why Mer-Man would want the necklace anyway while all Mer-Man can do is smile. He has a shiny new necklace to offer his hopeful queen of the new Salineas: Octavia...

On the outside of Snake Mountain, three unfortunate people walk towards the entrance. Octavia and Scorpia both help a wounded Clawful walk. He is hobbling on one leg as his wound from earlier is still bleeding slightly. Scorpia huffs as she tries holding Clawful up, "Stop acting so screwy! You will be fine." Clawful groans, "You stabbed me with your stinger!" Scorpia rolls her eyes, "Not exactly. That mer-bitch stabbed my stinger into your leg." Wincing in pain, Clawful shouts, "None of which would have happened if you didn't have a tail and stinger! Why do you have to have a tail and stinger?!" He howls in pain.

Octavia rolls her eyes, "I am beginning to hate this place." Scorpia gawks at her tentacled friend, "What are you even doing here? I thought you were attacking that undersea kingdom?" Octavia growls, "I was until large sea creatures began eating the buildings and Mer-Man." Clawful winces in more pain as they walk closer towards Snake Mountain, "Mer-Man has become real fish food?" Octavia grimaces, "Yes. The attack on Salineas is over before it could even truly begin." The trio heads inside Snake Mountain, completely unaware of the chaos unfolding around them...

In the higher sections of Snake Mountain, Castaspella struggles to free herself from her confines. The large snake structure over her head looms freakish as the enchantress is overlooking Eternia. King Hiss stands in front of her looking high atop Snake Mountain at what will soon be the brand new Snake World, "It will be all over my dear, in just the blink of an eye! Your brave existence was destined for this Castaspella!" King Hiss opens his arms wide, pleasantly surprised at how easy this all is.

King Hiss opens his mouth to say something else, but pauses. His tongue detects a rancid smell in the air. Turning to the source, King Hiss points a finger towards Stinkor, "What are you doing here?" Stinkor slowly approaches King Hiss, "Stinkor won't let Casta-friend get hurt." Castaspella struggles, "Stinkor! Get out of here!"

Shaking his head, Stinkor continues, "Stinkor cannot do that Casta-friend. Stinkor will stop King Snake." King Hiss listens with mischief in his eyes. He isn't the only one. Off to the side, She-Ra and her friends observe what is going on. They are waiting for their moment.

Unaware of She-Ra's presence, King Hiss stares at Stinkor, "It is quaint that something so disgusting thinks he can rise above his own filth to be the hero." King Hiss snaps his fingers, "Khan. Take care of this putrid man. He will not be part of the feast for Serpos." Kobra Khan steps forward with his hood opened. A hissing sound escapes his mouth as he releases a hypnotizing mist from his mouth. Stinkor gasps in pain as he stumbles backwards trying to wipe his eyes. Castaspella screams for her friend.

She-Ra motions for everyone to follow her lead, "That is enough!" The princess of power steps forward pointing her sword at King Hiss, "This madness ends now." King Hiss blankly stares at She-Ra, "What is this?" She-Ra stands tall, "This is your end. Once and for all." Stinkor begins to clear his eyes, "Stinkor does not believe Stinkor is seeing this! He-Man is now She-Man!"

King Hiss rolls his eyes, "Enough of this. The feast begins now!" King Hiss raises his Snake Staff releasing green magical energy in the air as the giant snake statue lowers around Castaspella. Perfuma covers her mouth in horror. She-Ra charges towards King Hiss, but it is too late. The snake statue around Castaspella closes its mouth and sucks the hypnotizing enchantress down its throat. Stinkor panics rushing away from the area, "Stinkor know where Casta-friend going to!"

He hurries as Clamp Champ calls out, "I'll join you." They are gone in an instant as the remaining heroes face off with Kobra Khan and some familiar visitors: Rattlor and Tung Lashor pop up ready to strike. Perfuma groans, "Great. We have to fight these guys again?" Tung Lashor tries to attack her with his tongue. Perfuma dodges the strike and the fight begins...

Down below Skeletor and Shadow Weaver help Trap Jaw free the other Evil Warriors. Beast Man rubs his sore body once free from the thick snake wrappings, "Just in time Skeletor. We were going to be eaten by the Snake Men." Skeletor crosses his arms, "Everything is fine now Beast Man. Where is King Hiss at?" Trap Jaw listens in, and interrupting, points towards the top of Snake Mountain. Skeletor sighs and heads off to the top of Snake Mountain with Shadow Weaver close behind.

The rest of the Evil Warriors all gather around. Trap Jaw is glad to see his friends. Spikor and Whiplash pop and crack their joints. Beast Man sighs, "Where is everyone else at?" A noise from behind captures their attention, "Um guys... some help here..." The Evil Warriors turn to see Sssqueeze holding Clawful and Scorpia in both his long arms tightly. Octavia's crumpled body is in the slight distance. Beast Man cracks his knuckles, "Time for payback! Let's kill this snake!" The Evil Warriors shout their approval.

Else where on another world, Frosta sits up in an all new bed in an all new room inside Bright Moon. Spinnerella is there as well, helping to bring in Frosta's items. The dizzying defender spins around making the new room look just like Frosta's previous one. Frosta lays back, very pleased at everything around her, "Thank you darling, I just couldn't stay in that same room. No matter how much Flutterina's vomit had been scrubbed clean, I just couldn't escape the smell."

Spinnerella nods, "Yes, well it was very gracious of Flutterina to switch rooms with you." Frosta looks at her nails while reaching for a file, "It is the least she could do. Besides, I just don't think it is fair that I live in a space that smells like outside and the smell of insect vomit too." Spinnerella nods twirling to fix a vase, she twirls about "And you simply won't be able to avoid the smell of, as you call it, outside. Bright Moon resides in a forest."

Frosta nods, "Exactly. You understand me so well Spinnerella. I can see why Netossa likes having you for a friend." Spinnerella smiles, "Netossa is not like you at all. I don't think I've ever met anyone quite like you Frosta." Filing her nails, Frosta sighs, "You would think I was one of a kind. If only everyone could think of me that way." Spinnerella inquires about the statement and listens as Frosta explains the details of her hot love for He-Man and his insistence on being smitten by Sweet Bee, "Seriously darling! He tends to melt when he sees her. It is revolting."

Spinnerella pauses from her decorating work, "I wouldn't talk too soon Frosta. When I was helping Flutterina when she was feeling sick, we were talking about random topics to get her mind off of things, and she made mention of Sweet Bee." Frosta sits up with her eyes wide, "What did she say?"
Spinnerella shrugs, "Something about a bad romance due to lousy kissing or something."

Frosta laughs to herself, "Ha! I knew that tragic mess couldn't please He-Man! Maybe Sweet Bee isn't as sweet as he thought?" Frosta ponders a few things. Feeling a slight bit of motivation, Frosta lays back in her bed, "I might actually be feeling better." Her sadness at recent events begins to feel lighter...

In another section of Etheria, the great threat of evil spreads in the Midnight Lair. Ultimera uses her magic powers to fan out, reaching across the empty dungeons and spaces of the Midnight Lair, "I do not understand this. Where is my sword?" She looks over at Vampra and Batros, "What am I keeping you two alive for, if you can't help me find my sword?" Batros is quiet.

Vampra steps forward, "Sometimes the things we are looking for most might be right under our nose." Ultimera glares at the Pyres, "That is a ridiculous sentiment." Ultimera turns away full of rage. Time is of the essence and Ultimera is quickly running out of patience, "I can feel those terrible Star Sisters. They are free and roaming on Etheria somewhere. I cannot lose my plans to them!" Ultimera curses her fate. She stands tall trying to make sense of things, when something creeps upon her memory of Etheria, "You might actually be making all the sense in the universe Vampra. I think I know exactly where my Chaos Sword is..." Ultimera turns to look at the Pyres, "I'm going to leave again for the time being. I shall return soon." In an instant, Ultimera is gone, leaving Vampra and Batros behind.

Back to the events on Eternia inside Snake Mountain, Castaspella finds herself holding on for dear life. After traveling down the insides of the giant snake statue wrapped around the mountain and being deposited into the well that the Snake Men slithered out of, Castaspella is trying to crawl her way out. Her nails are peeling back from their beds as she tries to grab old of the rugged stones. She screams for help.

Eventually Stinkor and Clamp Champ rush past the giant Doors of Serpos and race towards the well. Stinkor looks over and calls out, "Casta-friend! Stinkor is here. Stinkor will save Casta-friend!" Clamp Champ and Stinkor work together to find a way to pull her out.

Castaspella feels herself slipping. She looks down into the well of darkness and trembles as a low rumble echoes upwards. A loud hissing sound soon follows. "Hurry! Something is down here with me!!" Castaspella screams in terror as something begins to move beneath her.

Stinkor and Clamp Champ work together. Using his power clamp weapon, the two men hang over trying to get Castaspella to grab hold. Clamp Champ calls out, "Let it clamp around you, and we'll pull you up!" Castaspella nods and follows the orders perfectly. Letting out a sigh of relief, Castaspella holds onto the clamp device and is pulled out of the well.

Clamp Champ is relieved, "Madame, I am glad you are safe." A loud hissing sound buzzes his ear. Clamp Champ turns to see Snake Face. The Snake Man opens his mouth to let out a piercing hiss as snakes pour out of his eye sockets. A beam pierces Clamp Champ turning him to stone. Castaspella screams, "No!"

Stinkor tries to fight Snake Face, but the Snake Man kicks Stinkor away. Standing tall, Castaspella arches her back releasing beams of magical energy towards the fearsome Snake Face. Hissing in anger, Snake Face charges Castaspella.

The enchantress ducks as Snake Face loses his balance and falls over the well into the darkness below. Castaspella rushes to Clamp Champ trying to move him, "There must be something I can do." Stinkor touches the stone and looks sad, "Stinkor not sure this can work."

The hissing grows louder and soon they both shriek as the ground begins to rumble and bright green light flies out from the well. Castaspella and Stinkor look on in horror as Serpos rises out of the well. A giant snake looks out over them both. Stinkor and Castaspella both hold onto each other in fear. They have never seen something so terrifying. Serpos shakes the walls around them, ready to strike...

High atop Snake Mountain, She-Ra and King Hiss are in a deadly fight as the heroes struggle with the remaining Snake Men. King Hiss can feel Snake Mountain move. He closes his eyes, "It has begun. Serpos is free, can you feel him?" She-Ra can only hope that Castaspella is safe. The two continue to fight.

Skeletor and Shadow Weaver soon approach observing what is going on. Skeletor realizes that this is the perfect opportunity to rid himself of King Hiss and She-Ra all at once. Rushing into the melee, Skeletor pulls out his sword, ready to strike. She-Ra elbows Skeletor in the side, "No offense Skeletor, but this is not a three way fight." Grinning, Skeletor cackles, "But I have always loved a good three way." They each begin a deadly dance while trying to kill each other. There are no alliances, no ways for anyone to help the other. She-Ra, King Hiss, and Skeletor are fighting each other, each one trying to take down the other two.

To the sides, Bow, Teela, and Perfuma are taking quick care of Rattlor while Sea Hawk, Netossa, and Man-E-Faces struggle with Kobra Khan and Tongue Lashor. Shadow Weaver helps level the playing field with her deadly magic. The battle is intense.

She-Ra struggles against the two villains. Dodging attacks left and right, She-Ra doesn't even break a sweat, "You can both give up now." King Hiss slithers his tongue out, "I'm only just getting warmed up." The king slams both She-Ra and Skeletor against a side wall. The wide open space of the mountain strikes a creepy setting as King Hiss sheds his human form to reveal his true disguise of deadly snakes, "All hail Serpos!"

She-Ra and Skeletor both look on in concern. The Snake Men don't seem to be letting up, though something does seem to change in almost an instant. She-Ra notices it immediately. King Hiss falters, only slightly. She-Ra let's out a battle cry as she lunges up swiping a kick and then a hard punch as she knocks King Hiss backwards. Hissing in shock, the king loses his footing and falls off the mountain to the river of molten lava below.

She-Ra looks down as King Hiss burns and melts away into the lava. Skeletor grins and prepares to do the same to She-Ra. Off to the side, Bow notices what Skeletor is doing, "She-Ra! Heads up!" Bow takes aim and fires a shock arrow at Skeletor. Stunned momentarily, Skeletor curses himself. She-Ra shakes her head and swing kicks Skeletor in the chest. Trying to grab hold of her one last time, Skeletor realizes he can't make it. She-Ra grabs hold of him and swings him off the side of Snake Mountain. He tumbles down across the rocks below.

She-Ra can't tell if Skeletor makes it into the molten lava or not, because Shadow Weaver hurls out a raspy scream directed at She-Ra. The Snake Men panic as they realize their king is gone. Shadow Weaver quickly escapes. Teela stands tall in shock, "Did you just kill King Hiss and Skeletor?" She-Ra stands there in a strange calm, "I think so..." The heroes look at each other, unsure of what to do. There is not much time left to think of anything as they all feel Snake Mountain rattle again. The danger is far from over...

Inside the snake room, Serpos is trying to eat Stinkor and Castaspella whole. Stinkor keeps taking aim with a laser blaster while Castaspella is firing off blast upon blast of electrical fire at the giant snake. Stinkor loses his balance and bangs up the tank on his back. His stench begins to fill the room and with a heavy cloud of putrid funk all about, Serpos gets a taste. Breathing in the stench, Serpos hisses back in agony and retreats down the well. Stinkor hangs his head down.

Castaspella claps her hands, "Oh my goodness, Stinkor! You did it! Your smell, it got rid of Serpos!" Stinkor looks around, completely in awe of what he is capable of. Castaspella rushes towards the stone statue that is Clamp Champ. Working her magic, Castaspella is able to release the stone spell from the master clamp.

Clamp Champ shakes his head as his eyes meet Castaspella's, they both look at each other in an odd way, "Madame, thank you for saving my life." Castaspella smiles, "It was nothing. Stinkor is the one who we owe thanks too, he just got rid of Serpos!" Clamp Champ looks around. The giant snake is gone.

Until a loud hissing sound erupts from the well again. Castaspella shakes her head, "Oh no! No. No! He is coming back!" Stinkor looks over at Castaspella. He looks sad, "Stinkor want Casta-friend to run. This time Casta-friend needs to run." Castaspella looks at Stinkor with strangeness, "I'm not running anywhere. What are you doing?"

Stinkor is twisting some dials on the pack on his back, "Stinkor will stop this large snake." The ground trembles again. Stinkor walks towards the well. Clamp Champ begins to realize what is happening. Castaspella rushes after Stinkor, "What are you doing? Stop this, you are my friend." She has tears in her eyes, and she doesn't even know why. Stinkor looks at her, his yellow eyes glassy, "Just run Casta-friend." Castaspella refuses to budge, "No! You can't do this." She can't stop him. Serpos is coming.

"Oh no. No." Castaspella shudders as tears stream down her face. She hugs her smelly friend tightly. He smiles to himself and hugs her back, "Run Casta-friend." She takes a few steps back, shaking her head. Stinkor looks over at her with one last smile before he falls down the well.

Castaspella cries out, reaching with her hand into the space, "Oh no!" She continues to cry as Clamp Champ walks up behind her, "We have to get away from here. Serpos comes from the Void, it is another dimension. If Stinkor is doing what I think he is doing, this area is going to suck us in." Castaspella shakes her head, but there is no other choice.

Stinkor falls down the well, towards the darkness and the giant Serpos that is rising towards him. Stinkor is releasing his stench on the way down and it keeps pushing Serpos back into the Void. Clanging his pack against the stone, Stinkor is able to create enough of a spark to create a giant explosion over the Void. The last thing he holds onto is the knowledge that he was able to have one true friend in his life.

The blast over the Void creates a suction effect drawing everything in the area towards the Void. A giant sinkhole forms around the Void covering it up, preventing Serpos from escape. The ground sinks at a fast rate. Castaspella and Clamp Champ run quickly, trying to make it to safer ground. They rush past the giant green snake doors and eventually make it to safety.

They look back as the sink hole widens just enough, taking the giant doors down creating a whole new magic seal over the Void. The threat of the Snake Men is finally over. Castaspella can only cry though as she realizes the brave thing that Stinkor did. Clamp Champ puts his arm around her shoulder to hold onto her. He can't believe it. The threat is over. They can only sit there, holding onto each other wondering what happens next...

Up next!
Ultimera finds her Chaos Sword!
Flutterina still feels funny!
And the end is slowly approaching!
