I can imagine how it would be hard to get everything in complete condition. And these S.L.U.G items have been out for a little while. Originally they were only at TRU sporadically, but they have shown up at Target stores. I am not sure for how much longer, but they are a lot of fun. It is nice to hear from you!Michael Lynn P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03371185397200027726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-81875737859482637052013-02-04T22:08:46.375-06:002013-02-04T22:08:46.375-06:00Miss M! How wonderful!...and to answer Nick's question a loose/complete Hall of Justice goes for between $40 - $60 on evilBay. There are a lot of parts, the most common missing ones are a small red bridge about 3 inches long, and the red landing pad itself that sits upon the top of the Hall when it's open. Also the red computer console. I had no clue about these S.L.U.G. things, but they look awesome. Great post and great writing as usual my friend.EightiesManhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04967723988561950450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-53143386786703975062013-02-03T13:06:51.182-06:002013-02-03T13:06:51.182-06:00Well you know I think that is why I really like th...Well you know I think that is why I really like this story with Superman and Wonder Woman being a couple, because when I was little I always kinda paired them up. I mean i don't know why I did that, but they just always seemed like a nice fit. They never really made a Louis Lane figure so it just always made sense for him and Wonder Woman to be a couple.

And I would have totally loved an invisible jet toy! I know they made like a small one for the Fisher Price Little People Super Hero toy line a couple years ago, but that just isn't the same thing. lol Michael Lynn P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03371185397200027726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-88984977785476352542013-02-03T03:56:17.258-06:002013-02-03T03:56:17.258-06:00They should have made an invisible jet for Wonder ...They should have made an invisible jet for Wonder woman -they could have just made it be see through plastic! That would have been awesome actually, but maybe difficult to manufacture.
Now that Superman and Wonder Woman are actually boyfriend and girlfriend the fact that you owned the two is perfect. Like superhero Ken and Barbie.Nick Moosenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-55251955458628049032013-02-02T22:11:25.430-06:002013-02-02T22:11:25.430-06:00Well yeah, he is still with me with all the zombie...Well yeah, he is still with me with all the zombie toys all over the place. lol

But yes, I totally wanted the Hall of Justice because of Wonder Woman. I had a Superman one too that I would pretend was my boyfriend. And this is how resourceful I was as a child, I wanted Wonder Woman's invisible jet too, but since they never really made one, I would just put her in the sitting position and fly her around and be like, "She's in her jet, it's invisible!" lol A mess.

So I love the profile you are working on for Frankenspy's hand. I could see that also being a fun feature if he were to be made as an action figure.

And I never had any M.U.S.C.L.E toys or Monsters in My Pocket, but I did have C.U.T.I.E.S which were the girl version of M.U.S.C.L.EMichael Lynn P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03371185397200027726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-78218872205183796812013-02-02T06:13:24.899-06:002013-02-02T06:13:24.899-06:00Well if your husband ever does leave you you know ...Well if your husband ever does leave you you know you have a ton of dorky online guys, including myself, who would take that trip to Vegas with you ( though I still think two insane collector creative people together in any kind of relationship could be too scary for words) but if he didn't leave you after the plastic Zombie apocalypse, your bond is probably pretty solid.
So you got the entire Hall of Justice JUST for Wonder Woman!? That is hilarious. Is that worth anything on the collectors market now if it's in really good condition? I love that line-though. I only had like, Flash and Superman and a Burger King Cup from it, at the time. Now I have some more. I had a coloring book too if memory serves.
I like these little Slug guys too. The guy with the saw on his hand reminds me a bit of my Frankenspy character-except my guy has the option to change the weapon on his hand. Actually I'm working on a "closer look" profile of "Lefty: the Brawling Hand"-which is Frankenspy's hand that he can blast off his wrist at a bad guy-the fun thing is, he blasts the hand off, then he can put a weapon on his wrist -like a battle axe-and the hand itself can also attack an enemy,"Thing" from Addams Family style, and strangle them and stuff.
I'd prefer to have big normal sized action figures made of my characters, but I wouldn't mind having some little single-colored jobbies like these made of them too. I bet that would be way cheaper to make those kind of little guys. Did you ever have any M.U.S.C.L.E or Monsters in My Pocket?Nick Moosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03262694760208589236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-90167779103726277702013-02-01T01:10:40.208-06:002013-02-01T01:10:40.208-06:00Oh you have got to get these little things! Zombies, (Scary Little Ugly Guys) and they come three to a pack or you can purchase the big coffin pack that will feature 12. The 1st series was just zombie characters, but the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th all have Zombie Hunters included too. These have been out for awhile. In fact, Target has a ton of them on clearance for like a $1.18. So I'd stop by a Target if I were you. These guys are very very cute and so much fun.

And my husband, my poor dear husband, I don't know what he thinks of all this. He doesn't say much. lol I mean he hasn't left me yet, so I'm still good. I think.

And I did have a Hall of Justice playset. I had found it in the attic recently (the big attic purge from a few months ago that saw me reuniting with my Glimmer) When I was little I had a Wonder Woman figure (from the Super Powers line.) And I guess I wanted a Hall of Justice because I thought it would be like her house, but I must have been bored with it, because I don't recall playing with the set that much. So now, it is like in perfect condition, the pieces are like brand new. lol Michael Lynn P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03371185397200027726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-71038142631211994672013-02-01T01:03:48.178-06:002013-02-01T01:03:48.178-06:00Thank you Eric! My brother and I went through everything, and I finally got them cleaned up and looking presentable. I knew they'd make the perfect backdrop for this.Michael Lynn P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03371185397200027726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-83305148616988117692013-01-31T22:32:17.489-06:002013-01-31T22:32:17.489-06:00Woah-what was all that!? What are these like "zombies in my pocket"? or something? I can't believe I haven't heard about this at all.
How are they packaged?
I wish I was could be a fly on the wall in your household to see your husbands reaction to you spending-what must have been hours- arranging these things on play sets and photographing them. I can't believe you are married to a non-dork!- I can imagine the conversation: Husband: "Honey ! I'm home ! What's for dinner?"
Dorkette: "Not now dear! I'm working on my apocalyptic zombie diorama for the internet!"

But the most awesome thing in this post is that you have a vintage Super Powers hall of Justice play set! I didn't know you had any super powers toys.
Whether you prefer the X-Men or not, I think in a zombie apocalypse you'd have to choose the Justice League over the mutant folk. I think no matter what type of apocalypse it was I'd want Superman in my corner!
Nick Moosenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-1547847845434320302013-01-31T18:49:58.411-06:002013-01-31T18:49:58.411-06:00Haha that was awesome - and I love how you used Fi...Haha that was awesome - and I love how you used Fisher-Price Little People buildings as sets!Bubbashelbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05304403353153855498noreply@blogger.com
