It is something I don't know that I always embraced when I was younger because I don't think it was something for me to really think about, but as I have gotten older I really like seeing diversity in a toy line.

And that is so cool that you got the whole set! I had almost done that but at the time I needed to prioritize some expenses. The Fear figure looks so cool though. It's nice to hear from you and I hope that you have been doing well!Michael Lynn P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03371185397200027726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-13370328925207999132015-01-23T16:35:14.823-06:002015-01-23T16:35:14.823-06:00Oh Mason! And if you are able to I think that would be great to get some of these for your daughter! They are so much fun.

I was also cracking up with the women can be undead too! lol That sounds cool that they included one in that line you mentioned. Very cool! This is definitely one of the best Kickstarter toylines I've backed in terms of great style, quality control, execution, and a good color scheme.

I'm quite curious to see where a second series of figures will go. I'd love to see a variety of new body types to really provide some variety and represent a number of different female forms.Barbecue17https://www.blogger.com/profile/11169946891265569135noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-1620989045956072102015-01-14T13:29:01.935-06:002015-01-14T13:29:01.935-06:00I love to see indie toy such as these! maybe I sho...I love to see indie toy such as these! maybe I should get some for my little girl.

I don't really have an opinion on action figures with regards to body image, but I do enjoy seeing more female action figures. They are often in the minority (LEGO, GI Joe, etc.) so it's always nice to see female figures as part of "boys" toy lines. I recently picked up a set of zombie minifigures and I was pleasantly surprised to find a female zombie! Women can be undead too!

Also, I have never hear of the CUTIE toy line until now! So cool, I want some now!Masonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14317502791624737515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-5939428430465985382015-01-13T23:56:04.975-06:002015-01-13T23:56:04.975-06:00They really are John. I don't believe in limiting things, just expanding upon them. I'd be a hypocrite of the worst order if I said we needed to ban all female looking items that have exaggerated proportions because I am a consumer of it all. lol And that's the thing, I want it all. I like seeing a diversity of how things can look in the toy world. But I also think that sometimes the look of female super hero figures can be a bit vulgar for young kids, and I know that there are all kinds of age ranges interested in super hero toys so it just makes sense for a wide range of options for all kinds of collectors. Either way I'm buying it all. lol Michael Lynn P.https://www.blogger.com/profile/03371185397200027726noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-26175164232559378172015-01-13T17:24:53.035-06:002015-01-13T17:24:53.035-06:00Been watching and reading some reviews of these an...Been watching and reading some reviews of these and these are nice indeed from all i have seen.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05151310331721753861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4132358890134520474.post-44570148677696687322015-01-13T09:10:00.335-06:002015-01-13T09:10:00.335-06:00I'll admit I'm at a disadvantage when it c...I'll admit I'm at a disadvantage when it comes to this subject both as a man and as someone who doesn't know what kind of toys are out there. Every time I hear someone complain about how Barbie's physique is demeaning I just have to roll my eyes. Is there anyone who really believes her figure is meant to be an accurate representation rather than a stylized one thats easy to sculpt and mold in bulk?

Yet I'm very pleased that these Elemental toys have had a successful campaign. I'm interested in having more options for what kind of toys we can have, rather than have to listen to a lot of complaints about how the most popular option should conform to the standards of whoever yells the loudest. Plus if history has shown us anything, its that competition in a creative business can stir a great deal of innovation. So maybe this line is the start of several new kinds of playthings!Erik Johnson Illustratorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11184274387021011687noreply@blogger.com
