Dorky Snaps- Monster High Movie Edition

Dorky Snaps is back with a special Movie Edition, starring the freaky students from Monster High. As usual Dorky Snaps is a feature that pays tribute to the captioned pictures from the late Toyfare magazine. This Movie Edition will also be having some fun with the movie Clueless. I was a teen when that movie came out and it spoke to me so well with all its vapid glory. (It is one of the best movies ever.) I figure that Clueless and a freaky doll line of teen monsters would go hand in hand!

Boys. Clothes. Morbidity. Whatever!

Frankie- Okay, so you're probably going, "Is this like a toy commercial or what?" But seriously, I actually have a way normal life for a teenage monster.

Cleo- Ms. Krueger, my plastic mortician doesn't want me doing any activity where casketballs fly at my nose.

Clawdeen- Well, there goes your afterlife.

Rollin' with my ghoulies

Frankie- That's Ren and Stimpy. They're way existential.

Deuce- Nice limbs.

(Alright dear readers, your turn to add to the dorky fun!)

Enjoy the latest edition of Dorky Snaps, and while you are at it pop in Clueless. That movie never goes out of style. Also this week I will be postponing Toy Chest Tuesday to Toy Chest Thursday. Just for this week. I'm trying to get things together for a new Toy Chest and need a few more days! Until next time dear readers!

  1. Cleo: "Why should I listen to you anyway? You're just a monster who can't drive." *makes pouty face*

    Laura: "As if!"

(I <3 Clueless... say what you want about Alicia Silverstone's career or Brittany Murphy's tragic death... because eventually this movie will be renamed Timeless.)

  2. Love it Ty! Good one! And yeah, Clueless is completely timeless. I love that movie so much, it never gets old.
