Yeah I was inspired by a few silent comic issues. I wanted to actually have written words for this, but I just wasn't going to have the time. lol So this was sort of born out of my being lazy. lol
nice little omage to the legendary gijoe 21 the silent issue . for figured sooner or later miss elibeth and co would cross moth lady and batmans path. and loved the turtles kicking shreeders and the foots butt defending their lair.
Thanks demoncat! It was only a matter of time before the paths would cross. The pictures for the Turtle's section was one of my favorites. I loved taking those pictures. lol
Thanks Mason! It was pretty nice to not have to type the words. lol Master Splinter might be ok. The rest will be written though, so hopefully it will be good! I hope you are doing well.
Everyone thus far has referenced the GI Joe silent issue but allow me to reference the other great silent thing from our youth, (or more accurately, our adolescence) the legendary silent episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, "Hush". I loved how Joss Whedon, drunk on his own awesomeness, was sick of people telling him the dialog was the only thing that made Buffy so great, so he was like, "check this out! No words! Still awesome!" Miss M, doing a silent episode is the first sign that you actually fully aware of how amazing you are. Next you'll be doing a musical episode!
that was one of my favorite episodes of Buffy. It was so terrifying! Oh my goodness I miss that show. That is a very nice compliment, but I really don't think I'm awesome. This whole story came about because I was pressed for time and lazy to get the story part written out, so I really had to just do the pictures only. lol But yeah, Buffy= greatness. And I don't know that I will ever do a musical episode. Like I said, I'm not that awesome. lol
You guys should do one of the geek roundtable discussions, (sorry, I still haven't gotten around to listening to more of those yet) on which was the best episode of Buffy. Something I am certain a lot of geeks have a very strong opinion on! My pick is probably "Fool For Love" that one where we see all the flashbacks to Spikes past when he killed the other two slayers. Close second being "Crush" which is the one where Spike reveals he has feelings for Buffy. ( I guess it's pretty obvious who my favorite Buffy character is!) And some of the best things in art come about by pure accident. I mean, if the mechanical shark in Jaws had been working properly they would have showed a whole lot more of it, and the movie wouldn't have been NEARLY as scary!! I kind of like the fact that this episode that impressed everyone was born out of pure laziness!! Haha!!
I would have a hard time picking a favorite Buffy episode. I think one of the episodes I remember really freaking out about was when Buffy and Angel sleeping together. That was a water cooler moment at school the next day with my girl friends for sure. We were all freaking out. I'd need to revisit more episodes. I kinda stopped watching once she went to college. I hate admitting that. I did see some of the episodes from the final season though.
And yeah, this totally came about because I was completely lazy. lol Although I have to admit, sometimes it is nice to just take the pictures. Coming up with the writing stuff can be difficult. Anyways, I hope you are doing well!
naha! you are wrong my adorable friend! Because "Hush" was a college episode! So I know you must have watched at least a lil' bit into the college era!!! But none of us will EVER forget the ep where Angel slept with her! That was epic! I do like Angel. But I prefer Spike. Who do you think she ultimately should have been with?
It was like the silent issue of Marvel's GI Joe with no words needed to tell a great story.

Is Splinter down for the count or will he rise like a Phoenix from the ashes?
ReplyDeleteYou will find out about the fate of Splinter with the August Woman of Wonderosity! lol It doesn't look good for him though in this story. lol
