An epic toy review!

Remember when I said that toy Miss M (the toy version of the real me) was going to be a part of a crossover for ThEpic Review? Well, it's finally here! Click below and learn more!

As some of you may know, I have been writing with Diary of a Dorkette for awhile now and I also contribute to Nerd Society as well. I love to write, it is the one thing I feel like I can do moderately well in this life. So when I was asked to write a guest toy review with my charm in it for ThEpic Review I couldn't say no. It is nice to be asked to contribute to things, of course it is scary too. I love my writing, I write for me and I write for you all, but I also realize that not everyone is going to 'get' nor will they like what I come up with. That can be challenging. For those just tuning in I write and share the conversations I have with my toys. Don't worry, I'm not a danger to myself or others, but it is always nice when people 'get' it.

So here's the deal, I spent the last few weeks coming up with a really cool toy review covering the Big Trouble in Little China toy line from N2 toys. These toy interviews take days to weeks to complete. There's the whole writing process but also the pictures and setting up the environments. I want these pieces to be something that seem real. Real entertaining! Ba-dum-bum.

Plus there is something exciting about being a guest writer. I feel like Heather Locklear from Melrose Place. Remember how she was always the special guest star? Even though she was on the show for like 7 seasons, so it doesn't really make that much sense in the end. Anyways, everything is finished and I wanted to provide a link to the Toy Tribute to Big Trouble in Little China toy review/interview for those of you who are interested. I hope it is entertaining. And when you are done, look around on ThEpic Review. They have a fun contest going on that I think some of you would really be interested in.

Anyways, I hope you are all doing well. It's the weekend! October is just flying by and before you know it the end of the year will be here. I am working on some things for Halloween (oh yes, there will be a splashy toy Halloween party for sure) but there are also some other things that are coming up. Some things I am not going to say just yet, but I can say this much: for those of you who have been following the story of toy Miss M, just wait. I have a really wonderful story to tell that will lead into 2014 and it will hopefully be amazing. It's always more than just toys, right? Take care ya'll!

  1. Thanks so much again for contributing! It was truly a red letter day for The Epic Review! I love the toy version of me so much that I'm either going to dress up my Samhain like that or I'm going to just go about wearing a pumpkin on me head all the time. I haven't decided yet!

    1. Hey! I should be thanking you for asking me. I was very honored to do this. I truly had a fun time and I'm just glad I had a toy version of you. Whatever you choose, I think either look will be really cool. ; ) I hope you are doing well, and I'm glad that you asked me to do this. Talk to ya later! : )

  2. I was on youtube the other day and -you know how sometimes they have those infuriating commercials before you can see the video? Well, one that I kept seeing was for an animated version of "the Littlest Pet Shop" and who seemed to be the main human? Little Miss M!!! I know you told me that she was a Littlest Pet Shop toy and easy to find, but seeing you/her animated when I wasn't even looking at your blog was...well, a bit jarring.
She looked cute, but the show looked really, really, REALLY annoying actually. Maybe it was just a bad preview, but it looked really bad. They should have just made a Lil' Miss M cartoon where you interact with toys instead of pets.

    1. lol! That's right, the toy version of me also runs around on a show where she is called Blythe. lol Yeah, that cartoon is pretty annoying. lol I'm sorry that it was so jarring though! I don't know what I'd do if there was a Lil' Miss M cartoon. lol That would be a mess.
