December 2013 Woman of Wonderosity!

Here we go. The fate of the universe rests in this post. Well... not really, but wouldn't that be terrifying if it did? I don't know that I could ever be a true blue super hero. I don't even know how She-Ra does it. Trying to save people and save the universe from the tyranny of evil or the Horde just sounds daunting. I just barely found time to paint my toes. (Trust me, they looked really bad. It was like my feet were stand-ins for zombie feet on a new episode of the Walking Dead.) The universe would be screwed if I was responsible for wielding the power of Grayskull or the lasso of truth. About all I'm good for is taking some mediocre pictures and sharing the sad bit of crazy that roams around in my head like some decent cell reception. I enjoy it though. I know it might be a bit much for some people, but I have such a fun time doing these posts. Particularly this final post of 2013. I had long been planning it months ago and it has actually become a post that has taken root with some personal circumstances in my life. I hope you all enjoy.

Now it is time to find out the fate of toy Miss M and the wrestler Velvet Sky! Did Velvet Sky succeed in her attempts to destroy toy Miss M? Read on and find out!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Hey everyone, I just wanted to throw out some well wishes for a Merry Christmas to you all. This has obviously been a very surreal holiday this year for me. I am in the process of so many changes and I don't know what is going to happen from day to day, but I am just in awe over the wonderful friendships I am creating with all of you. I say friendships because I'm a southern girl that says "ya'll" and the word friend and acquaintance might as well be the same thing. (I realize that on many levels it is not, but I am just a very sweet person that enjoys talking to everyone.)

I have also been fortunate enough to receive lovely holiday cards from people. I am so honored that people thought to think of me. I also have received some surprise packages at my door that were totally unexpected. Beyond unexpected and I can't thank those people enough. (Trust me, once the madness of the holiday wears off, I will be writing about it all!)

Anyways, I just wanted to leave this quick note to you all. I hope that things are well wherever you all are. If I could, I'd have a huge festive holiday party with each and every one of you. As it stands, the work that I am doing to create a teleportation device is taking me, like, forever. So... yeah.

I also think you should stay tuned, because I have some fun things coming up! 2013 ain't over until the Dorkette says it's over! Find out if toy Miss M survives the sewer lair explosion. And will Velvet Sky get away with all her heinous crimes? Only one way to find out... For now, enjoy some of my most favorite Christmas images! (Spoiler alert, She-Ra is featured a lot.)

Merry Christmas!

December 2013 Bodacious Baddie 400 Extravaganza!

Here we are. The 400th post of Diary of a Dorkette! This is actually pretty funny as I was not planning the Bodacious Baddie to coincide with the actual 400th post, but sometimes things just have a way of working out. For those that are just tuning in, I interview toys. (There's actually a whole lot more to this blog, but one of its hallmarks is that I talk to toys.) Yes, they talk to me and I talk to them. It would stand to reason that I might need help, but I think I'm about as sane as it is gonna get around here. I started these interviews last year and expanded them in 2013. As a result I began to weave a little story as the toy version of myself interacted with all the heavy hitters from the larger toy world around us.

Here's what you need to know. Toy Miss M is best friends with April O'Neil. They work together bringing their journalistic integrity to folks every month with hard hitting toy journalism. April is older, wiser, and jaded. She was divorced from Casey Jones though they recently remarried on Halloween. Toy Miss M started a whirlwind romance with her favorite Ninja Turtle Michelangelo that spanned over two posts, here and here. Over 20 years of friendship has now led to a very loving and stable relationship, something the dorkette had never expected. Actually, there's a lot she never expected, like, actually dating a Ninja Turtle.

All is not what it seems though. Full of rage and hate for being made fun of in an old post, the wrestler Velvet Sky has slowly been plotting the downfall of Miss M. Having worked with the greatest villains in the universe, Velvet Sky has tried unsuccessfully to destroy Miss M. In fact, for a brief moment, Miss M even knew about Velvet Sky's dastardly evil machinations, but after suffering a blow to the head, Miss M does not realize the danger around her. Now, in cahoots with Hordak, Velvet Sky has devised the ultimate plan. Instead of just going after Miss M, Velvet Sky wants to destroy those most close to the dorkette. (And in some cases has actually succeeded) Enough back story though! Find out what happens next in this spectacularly tacky 400th Diary of a Dorkette post with the all new December 2013 Bodacious Baddie!

Miss M Presents: Christmas Wishes and Toy Dreams!

Dear Diary,

The holiday season is in full gear. People have forgotten how to drive and the roads are dangerous. Folks are fighting over items marked so high they might as well be living with the Care Bears. But, all is good. I'm in a very stable relationship with a Ninja Turtle and we are going to go shopping for Christmas gifts for our loved ones. I couldn't be happier. This is going to be the greatest Christmas ever!

I have enclosed a jewel that helps protect you.

December 2013 Heroic Hottie!

Dear Diary,

The year is coming to an end. I personally can't believe another year is going by. The year has been pretty thrilling with so many great toy interviews. I've had the great luck of getting to interview some of the best. Of course, then there were three in 2013. Who will they be? Who will get the dubious distinction of being featured in the top three interview spots for the end of the year? Well dear diary, I'm not sayin squat. It will just have to be a glorious surprise. Anyways, I am off. I need to check into the office. April has been hiding out since Thanksgiving. Apparently someone got mad that she knocked over a vat of fried turkey juice drippings on the ground. Supposedly the drippings melded with some radioactive residue from the sewer and has created these really creepy rats that gobble, not to mention some breed of super roach that can withstand freezing temperatures. Eh. Tis the season.

November 2013 Heroic Hottie!

Dear Diary,

Thanksgiving is but a few days away, which means November is nearly over and the nightmare that is December will be feasting upon our flesh like a bad teen vampire flick. It's all good though. I have a Ninja Turtle boyfriend. I won't be alone ever again. Now I just need to make sure I've got my dessert dish ready that I am bringing to the sewer lair for Thanksgiving. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Turtles are going to end up ordering pizza and April will just have an endless supply of wine. Maybe Splinter and I will be able to watch some soaps. Nothing beats Thanksgiving family drama on daytime TV. Oh well Diary, I have to leave. The dessert is not going to buy itself.

Being Thankful

It has been awhile since I posted a topic from the League of Extraordinary Bloggers, and I just about missed this most recent topic. I'm cutting it close to the line, but it's better late than never so let's discuss the topic,

Gee, Thanks!
Next week, we gather to celebrate Thanksgiving. What are you thankful for this year?

November 2013 Bodacious Baddie!

Dear Diary,

These interviews just fly by, don't they? I can't believe it is that time again. It feels like it was yesterday that I was interviewing the Riddler and plotting with him to get Franken Berry and Elsa hitched so they'd experience nothing but boring bliss. On a side note, Franken Berry and Strawberry Shortcake are actually dating! It just seems so odd to me, why didn't I introduce them sooner? I'm really hoping they bake some yummy strawberry desserts for Thanksgiving. But enough of that, I need to find out who I am interviewing this month.

Toy Chest Tuesday! Pound Puppies Part 2!

Toy Chest Tuesday is here, barking up another dorky tree! Click below to read more.

Dear Diary,

"I'm so behind."

That is my statement for 2013. Or maybe my statement for 2013 should be, "My life keeps falling apart week by week, but damn it, I'm doin what I do, and what I do is cute." What do I know? I know that I want to scream at the top of my lungs. I can't share why that is on here, I just can't, but I really need She-Ra. Or the power of Grayskull. Or something. Maybe a margarita? I don't drink so that is pointless. Damn it.

So last Friday I submitted my short-short story for the writing contest. I had my brother and mom help me spruce it up, I needed an extra pair of eyes. I think my finished product was fun. It was a little thing I wrote years ago, but I updated it and now I hope it at least makes somewhat of a decent rank. I am not sure if I can post what I sent in yet or not as per the rules, but once I know anything I will post it on here for you all to read. (For those interested.)

Let's see. What else? I've got so much going on right now. I have so many stories and things that I am writing that I just want to share it with you all. I want to just give it all away, but I can't. No one will want to continue reading, right?

I've been enjoying my time with writing official content for Retro-Daze.org. I love the forum that is a part of the site. It is fun and everyone seems to be very nice. You should all go visit it! Hopefully I can also get a special review up on Broadway Jem for NERDSociety. That exclusive doll looks amazing.

I also was contacted by someone that I sold a short story to over the summer, and they are going to be contacting me for more work! (If I understood the email correctly.) I have so many coals in the fire that I hope I'll be staying warm this winter. But then I remember I live in an area that maybe has half a day of winter a year, so I'll be fine. If anything, I'll smell and look good from all the cosmetics and fragrances I keep selling. (On a total side note, I have really perfected making up my face. I don't usually wear a lot of make up, but working in a department store I have to look like I know what I'm selling, so I've got Bette Davis eyes all day long!)

I also have my fingers crossed for another project I am hoping to join in on. This publishing company is trying to put together a collection of humorous stories regarding how each state in the U.S. would handle an apocalypse. My goodness I feel like that is pure fun! In the words of Marina and the Diamonds, "I'm obsessed with the mess that is America."

Anyways, I just wanted to check in and see how you are all doing. I've got some fun stuff I will be posting this week, it won't be all my personal ramblings. Hope you are all doing well and having a great week! Take care everybody.

November 2013 Woman of Wonderosity!

Dear Diary,

Halloween has come and gone. My dog was murdered. Janine Melnitz was involved in some freak accident in the parking lot at April O'Neil's Halloween Party. Life has been pretty strange to say the least. I've been an emotional mess, but the interviews must go on! I wonder what April is up to? There was one good thing to come out of Halloween, April and Casey Jones did end up getting married. So there is always that.

Been a Bit Busy

Hey everyone.

I know it has been about a minute since I posted anything new, but I just wanted to do a little check in. I have been pretty busy. I've been getting together some new content for posts for Diary while also getting something together with NERDSociety (though I am a bit behind on that.)

I've also been writing some stuff for Retro-Daze, if you haven't yet, go check them out here and here. I've been having a really great time with that site too.

So here's the thing. I've also been working on something to enter into a short short story competition. I've never entered a writing competition in my life. I've always been very nervous to do something like that as I feel like I am not really that talented to enter something into an official contest. Shit gets real when it is in an official contest, ya know?

I decided though that it doesn't matter if I rank in the top 12 or not, what matters is that I pour my heart into a short short story and swallow my fears and just submit it. Who cares? Right? So I've been working on something that I hope to send in before the deadline. We shall see!

There have also been other things that have kept me busy. I went to see my friend compete in a Pole Competition yesterday. I've talked before about my friend Patrick and the work he has put in to Pole Performance. He made third place in his division and the performance he gave was pure perfection. Once a video is up I will be sharing it with you all. It is the perfect thing for all you nostalgic lovers. I'm also just beyond proud of him because this was his first solo performance in a competition! We were all screaming for him. I had a grand old time. Later on that night, I also got to experience something with my family that is just pure excitement.

As I've mentioned before my family has always been a movie family. They take their movies seriously and it was only a matter of time before someone tried to make it work in the movie business. My brother was fortunate enough to work on the film the Dallas Buyers Club and he even ended up having a cameo role in the movie! It was a non-speaking part, but it was enough for us to want to rush out and see it as a family. (My parents rarely go see a movie together, and with the four of us seeing something together, that is even more of a rarity.)

So late last night we went to the late showing of the Dallas Buyers Club and we were all nervous, especially my brother, he wasn't sure what he was going to look like or what. But then all of a sudden there he was, on the big screen! And it was just magic. We were concerned that my mom would start screaming in the movie theater because sometimes she just can't help it, but luckily for the other patrons she simply let out a loud gasp and grabbed the both of us. I'm so proud of him. He is making his dreams come true. Also, if anyone is interested, the Dallas Buyers Club is a really good movie. It's sad, really sad, but there are moments of humor and a great deal of beauty.

That's sort of what I've been up to lately. I have some fun things in store this week though, so get ready! Toy Miss M will be partaking in her toy interviews and may or may not end up crossing paths with her arch enemy Velvet Sky! You won't want to miss it! Take care everyone.

Miss M presents: April O'Neil's Halloween Party of the Year!

Dear Diary,

Halloween is here. We've all been counting down and here it is. I can't believe it Diary. April is throwing a huge Halloween party at the office. This is the biggest party of the year. So huge in fact that there will also be a wedding! I'm just thrilled. Actually, I feel slightly bad. I tried playing matchmaker with Franken Berry and Elsa from the Bride of Frankenstein, but their love is so syrupy sweet that it is not safe for breakfast. I plotted with the Riddler to get them hitched so that they can face a world of boring matrimony and the world can go back to normal. I'm not a bad person, am I Diary? Sure I have my motives, but I'm just trying to bring order back to the world again. Oh well, I'm off. I've got to get dressed for the party. I can only hope that April is doing all right with getting things set up...

Countdown to Halloween courtesy of Pop Pop..! It's Trash Culture!

A few weeks ago I participated in a giveaway from Pop Pop..! It's Trash Culture. Brian always has these great monthly giveaways that are really fun. Actually take the time to stop by It's Trash Culture and look around. I enjoy his sense of humor and his tastes in trash. He knows his stuff and I have come to really enjoy catching up on his posts.

So this month the giveaway was a special "Trash 'r Treat" giveaway. The entry into the contest was simple enough, merely leave a Halloween related comment and the winner would be picked. Well dear readers, I was the lucky winner from this contest so click below and check out the items that Brian sent over. It is the perfect Halloween loot ever.

Countdown to Halloween with the October 2013 Bodacious Baddie!

Dear Diary,

Halloween is near. My teeth are chattering with the sugars. Folks are wearing costumes at the grocery stores and restaurants, like it is all common place. (I'm not even talking about children, these are grown folks with some impressive costumes.) It's driving me crazy because I have yet to find what I'm wearing to April O'Neil's Halloween Party of the Year. Anyways, I'm rambling just a tad too much. I need to find a book on love since Franken Berry and Elsa have been inseparable. It's kinda scary how fast they have fallen for each other. My matchmaking skills are just on point. Right? Diary, help me make sense of this!

Countdown to Halloween Edition: October 2013 Woman of Wonderosity!

Dear Diary,

I'm feeling electric. Positively electric. Or is it eclectic? Crap. I don't know which word I'm trying to use and it doesn't really matter. I've been running around like a fool for love. As Madonna once said, I believe in the power of love. As a result I've been trying to play match maker to quite a few folks. Everyone deserves a special Halloween romance, and with the holiday almost here, I fear I might fail in my efforts. Enough of my problems though, I'm sporting a possible contender for the perfect Halloween costume ever, and I need to settle in with a meeting with my mentor and friend: April O'Neil. Someone has been sending her bedazzled black roses and buckets of Halloween candy. I smell romance, and it is sweet!

It's a strange thing how the world can be. If there is ever anything I need to know I merely need to log on to Twitter or Facebook. It was Friday that I logged on to tweet about the Heroic Hottie when I saw a tweet from PixelDan that Lou Scheimer had passed away. I could only stare at my screen before replying with a tweet of my sadness.

For those who do not know, Lou Scheimer was one of the founders of Filmation Studios and essentially the face of Filmation. He was behind many wonderful live action and animated shows that most of us grew up on. He was of course attached to He-Man and She-Ra.

I want to share some reflections of this man. I never met him, our paths never crossed, but what he helped to share with this world forever changed me. Mattel may have created the She-Ra toy line, but it was Lou and Filmation that brought her to life. (Among other various characters.) There are of course many Filmation shows I enjoyed watching when I was younger, not to mention finding out about others as I got older, but She-Ra was the one that stuck with me and has always had a special place in my heart.

Growing up the only thing I really knew of Lou Scheimer was his name in that magical cursive signature across the television screen before the end of the She-Ra opening scene. I knew that his name was a stamp of approval, that what I was about to watch was going to be wonderful. It wasn't until I was older and I saw interviews or read articles about this wonderful man that I truly learned more about him.

He loved his work and the fans that continued to watch, never content to let go. There was such a fondness for what he had done with Filmation. He loved these characters and the people who all worked together to bring the work to television screens. I also loved hearing him talk about his family. There was so much love and care in his words. To watch all of this, to hear this man talk so joyfully about these topics along with a character that I still love so much, it was just magical. So upon hearing of his passing, I am sad. My heart goes out to his family, a family that continues to discuss and share in his legacy. With my sadness is also a sense of celebration. I want to celebrate and honor Lou Scheimer and his legacy. He leaves behind so much for all of us as well as future generations to enjoy. And enjoy we will. I hope you are all doing well. Take care everyone.

Countdown to Halloween Edition: October 2013 Heroic Hottie!

Dear Diary,

The smell of pumpkins is in the air. I saw a man purchasing a Jabba the Hutt costume at the store. I'm actually in love with that commercial where the family is trick or treating and they are dressed like Star Wars characters, and the dad is dressed as Jabba the Hutt while his baby daughter is hanging on his chest in that bikini Princess Leia outfit. It is beyond cute. I also recently bought some mousse. My hair has never looked better. It's this Herbal Essence volumizing stuff and I just feel so confident, like I'm ready to take on the world. Ok. Maybe I'm rambling. I actually should probably get going. I'm in the office and April O'Neil needs to talk to me about this month's Heroic Hottie. See ya later when I'm curled up on the couch with General Hospital on in the background.

Well dear reader, click below and find out what I'm currently coveting with my black heart full of toys and dolls with colorful hair. So much colorful hair...

Countdown to Halloween, with Halloween Events!

With October already in full swing (have you seen the pumpkins swinging from the trees?) there are a few wonderful things to talk about regarding Halloween events.

A Halloween Special is going to be shown in the RetroDaze Public Domain Theater on October 17th 8:00 PM EST. This will be on the RetroDaze site. One of the RetroDaze contributors (Vaporman) told me about it and it seems like a really cool event! All you have to do is register at RetroDaze and click on the "Theater" link in the navigation box. You will then click "Buy Ticket" to enter the Theater (the ticket costs nothing.) I am very curious to see what this will all be about. Head on over there as it is a very cool place. Here's a promotional image to whet your appetite!

Ok so scenes from Roseanne, Jem, and Punky Brewster are more than enough for this to be one beyond fun Halloween Special!

Speaking of events, who here likes contests? Over at ThEpic Review, there is a 2013 Halloween Grab Bag Contest! Click here to read all about it. There are some fun prizes (3 in all) and the contest runs until Oct. 28th. There are a few ways to enter the contest, so remember, head over to ThEpic Review and learn more! I'll give you a hint about some of the prizes, one involves a Series 1 SLUG Zombie, the second item is a mint Legends of Batman Catwoman figure, and finally (drum roll please) there is a brand new 1966 Classic Style Batman figure from good old Mattel! I think you really should stop reading and head over there, like, yesterday.

But don't really go just yet! I have one more Halloween Event to discuss (for now.) I was invited by ThEpic Review to contribute to a very special post that will debut next Friday (Oct. 11th.) I've been working on this for awhile now, and it will be a major crossover event featuring Miss M (The toy version of me) and some surprise guests. Don't worry, toy Miss M won't be turning into the next Wolverine and appearing all over the place, but this event next week will hopefully be super entertaining! Also, if anyone has any Halloween Events that they would like me to share with everyone, please feel free to email me at missmermista@gmail.com. I am more than happy to post any upcoming fun events for Halloween. Take care everyone!

Updated! I must add one more thing! There is another Halloween contest going on, and it is brought to us all by the Sexy Armpit! Head over to the Sexy Armpit to learn about this Halloween contest and check out the items. There's a bit of something for everyone, so don't delay! Entering is easy and well worth it. I'm totally off this time because it's late and I want some cake. Hope you are all doing well.

September 2013 Bodacious Baddie!

Dear Diary,

While still on my romantic high from my totally tubular date with Michelangelo, I have realized that the month of September is at a near end and I still have to interview a Bodacious Baddie! I was given top secret coordinates to find this month's vicious fiend, and I am hoping I make it out alive. Ok Diary, I need to get going. Wish me luck! I can't believe I'm telling my diary to wish me luck...

Miss M Presents: That's Amore Part 2!

Dear Diary,
I just got back from the beauty salon where Truvy and Frenchy both saved my date night from becoming a big date don't. Now that I'm all dressed and ready to go, I can only hope that this big first date with Michelangelo will be one for the books. I'm totally nervous, but after the disaster of my hair nearly going up in flames at the salon, well... what could possibly go wrong?

Miss M Presents: That's Amore!

Dear Diary,

It's me, Miss M. I know I haven't written anything in awhile, but I have been rather busy. You see Diary, I think I am in love. With a Ninja Turtle. This all really heated up during this Summer's Conference of Evil, and after a bit of some internal back and forth, I realized there would be nothing wrong with going on a date with Michelangelo, the party turtle. He makes me laugh and we've known each other for ages. But what's a girl to do? I'm not totally sure where this "thing" could go between us. It all gets more complicated as I write this out. In but a few hours I am supposed to meet him for our very first official date! Diary, I need help! Am I ready for this? Am I ready to go out on a date with a Ninja Turtle? There's only one way to find out...

September 2013 Heroic Hottie and Woman of Wonderosity!

I'm baaaack! Well, that was much quicker than I had expected. I was anticipating a long wait for the Internet to return from that awful strike of lightning. I was wrong. I like being wrong sometimes. I also realize I had originally typed 'lightening' instead of lightning. What can I say? I'm from the south, and I'm fairly certain that where I'm from, there is an 'e' in lightning. I'm just sayin.

Anyways, things are up and running again over here at Diary of a Dorkette and I am finally posting something that I was wanting to post a few days ago. This is a special double dose for September, a special Heroic Hottie and Woman of Wonderosity. Enjoy!

Lightning Only Strikes Once...

Right? So picture this, if you will. It's a nice Saturday afternoon, the perfect time to just be a little lazy and relax. Maybe play a little bit of Link's Awakening. Not for nothin, that game is pretty fun. Anyways, all of a sudden a pesky lil thunder storm decides to drop on in. The rain is of course very needed. My poor hibiscus has been in need of water from the sky.

Of course everything had to take a sharp turn to, "Oh hell no" when lightning decided to strike my house. I have never been in a building struck by lightning, but it is a very odd experience. Very loud. Very crappy. All kinds of stuff got fried. I'm talkin 2 piece and a side biscuit fried. I mean if I'm going to be in a house that gets struck by lightning, can I at least walk away with some special super hero powers or something?

Anyways, my point for this post is that there might be some delays in what I post for the next week or so as my already spotty Internet has all but gone and died. I hope to be posting back to normal soon, and there may be things I will be able to post if I can, but for now I hope you are all doing well. Stick around, I do have some really fun things planned for September! (I promise, like, really fun stuff.)

Bits and Pieces! Wave 10!

While I try and find a way to heal the wounds on my body from a particularly deadly season of mosquitoes (seriously, if I didn't know any better I'd say Mosquitor is after me) why don't we settle in for a new wave of Bits and Pieces!

Hello, I am Miss M...

... He-Man's non-twin sister and defender of dorkiness. Fabulous secrets were revealed to me the day I held aloft my She-Ra action doll and said, for the Honor of Toys, I am a Dorkette!

Only a large few share my secret (more on those members of the League of Extraordinary Bloggers in a second) and together we strive to free the world from the evil forces of Boredom!

What I wouldn't give for the ability to make some cool opening number with all that. Anyways, Toy Chest Tuesday will be back again another day. For now let us dish on the extra special two week long topic from the League of Extraordinary Bloggers. The topic is:

Hello, my name is… Tell us a little about yourself — even if we all know who you are, there are plenty of new folks wondering if you’re in fact a dog.

This suddenly makes me hungry for pizza, like a feasta meatza pizza or something. Anyways, click below for all the Toy Chest fun!

Too Cool for School

Oh this is one of the best parts of the week! It's time for the weekly topic from the League of Extraordinary Bloggers! For those unfamiliar with what I am talking about, the League of Extraordinary Bloggers is a group of really great bloggers who write on a posted topic on Cool and Collected. Anyone can contribute and once they have posted something on the weekly topic, they simply have to link some of the other articles in the process. It is a really great experience to be a part of. The topic for this week is:

Back to School!

Since there have been a few toy lines making the rounds with dolls involved in high school antics (i.e. Monster High, Ever After High, and My Little Pony: Equestria Girls) I thought it would be fun to look at another group of friends and their own experiences in going back to school. Click the link below to read up on a new series (never) debuting called She-Ra: Senior Year!

August 2013 Heroic Hottie!

Dear Diary,

Crap. Big time crap. Ever since April O'Neil told me on Tuesday night that the Masters of the Universe Classics sub went through, there has just been a massive party at my house. Like the hugest party ever. So many people have been coming and going, I can't even keep track. I don't know what to do Diary. The party has been going on non-stop throughout Wednesday and well into the night. Just so much partying. I want to know when these people will leave. I've got work to do. I still have to find a Heroic Hottie to interview for the month of August. It's night time now, so maybe they will all go home. Maybe. I also may have kissed Michelangelo. Ok, I kissed him. I know Diary, I know. I went and screwed things up big time. How do I fix any of this? Anyways, I am really tired. I just hope that when I wake, everything will be over. Send me some luck.

-Miss M

Miss M Presents: Funeral For a Friend. Figures.

The last time we saw Miss M, she was enjoying a girl's night-in with her dear friend and mentor, April O'Neil. After a thrilling recap of all the things that go bump in the night, Miss M and April were brought back to reality with a chilling phone call in the middle of the night. What sort of dastardly phone call was it? Where did they both rush off to? Read on dear reader, read on...

These Bootlegs Are Made for Walkin'

And that's just what they'll do. One of these days these bootleg toys are gonna walk all over you...

This week's topic for the League is a tough one. The topic is:

Bootlegs, knockoffs, and third-party products.

Is there anything in my archival room that will suffice? Read on and find out...

The League of Extraordinary Bloggers posted a new topic this week that is a sequel of sorts from last week's topic. Dreams was the order of the topic last week and this week the topic is simply:

Toy Chest Tuesday! MoonDreamers Part 1!

Toy Chest Tuesday is all new and in keeping with the themes of the League of Extraordinary Bloggers from this past week and this week, (dreams and nightmares) I thought it would be fun to check out a little line called MoonDreamers! I will be posting about nightmares later on in the week, but for now, let's look back at MoonDreamers!

Dorkette Night Out! The Art of Storytelling: A Pole Dance Kickoff event

I'm not always stalking the aisles at Toysrus or spending nights washing toys in the Spa Sink. Every now and then I do get out and have, ya know, a social life. Read on for my night out at The Art of Storytelling: A Pole Dance Kickoff event hosted by Melee on the Bayou.

Dream a Little Dream of Me

The topic for this week's League of Extraordinary Bloggers is simple, yet full with so many possibilities.

I have a dream...

Now I tend to have very vivid dreams that involve all kinds of kooky things like a killer ostrich trying to peck away at my heart or an ocean adventure dream that finds me traveling the deepest depths of the seas in a swanky submarine that makes McDonald's food on command. But, I'm not going to talk about the dreams I have when I'm tucked in at night. And I'm certainly not going to discuss the dream of having cybernetic implants installed on me so I can live forever as a really fun and kind cyborg (unlike that damn Vera.) Instead, read on for a personal dream I've had for a very long time...

July 2013 Heroic Hottie!

Dear Diary,

As I reach the end of July, I find myself dying of heat exhaustion. It is seriously so hot that I am contemplating setting up a nice home in my freezer. Also my zombie breastacle bite is still sore and in pain. I have Band-Aid marks that look like I'm trying out for the role of that Anastasia girl from 50 Shades of Grey. Only, who really cares? I'm also late. Not preggers late, but Heroic Hottie late. July is at an end and I still need to interview this month's Heroic Hottie. In my meager defense though, this month's Heroic Hottie is not the easiest to contact or deal with. Luckily for me, I donned a red wig and pretended to be back from the dead. He quickly contacted me. It's amazing how far you can get in life with a good red wig.

Ok diary, that's it for today. As always, I'll keep you abreast of any new developments. (Get it? Abreast? Ya know, in keeping with the dreaded joke of my zombie bitten boob? Oh I just slay myself.)

July 2013 Bodacious Baddie! The Conference of Evil!!!

Dear Diary,

I went and did it this time. It is the biggest week of the year. San Diego Comic Con is well under way, and do you think I could be there, reveling in all the fun? Oh no. No, no, no. I get to plan on solving a mystery at this year's Conference of Evil. You see Diary, some evil mastermind is trying to kill me. There were whispers months ago that some world renown villain wanted me gone. And since my dear friend and mentor April O'Neil was badly injured last month in a dreadful wreck that was meant for me, well, April and I thought it was high time we get to the bottom of who exactly wants me gone. So here we are. My "official" reason for attending the Conference of Evil is to interview all kinds of villains and bad guys for this month's super special Bodacious Baddie. (But you and I know this is about much more.) Luckily for the stylish and cool, I've got a cute outfit for this thing. I've never really been to a Conference of Evil before, so I'm not quite sure what to expect. I just hope I survive this. Oh well, wish me luck!

The Fear of Robots

Where do I even begin? This week's topic for the League of Extraordinary Bloggers is about:

They Made What?! Totally Unnecessary!

The problem with capitalism is that everyone and their mother thinks folks will buy just about anything. To some degree this is true, but then there are times when we are left wondering, "Did they really just make this with the hope that I will buy it?" Thus is the issue at hand from the Nemesis Complex Blog Collective. Asked last week and continuing on for this week, the Blog Collective was thinking about:

Ridiculous and unnecessary merchandise!

I'm so glad I get to take part in this because I was really lazy last week! Read on dear reader, read on!

June 2013 Bodacious Baddie!

Where did we last leave off? Oh yes, I was interviewing the hunky June 2013 Heroic Hottie, when out of the blue I got a terrible phone call. My mentor, and friend, April O'Neil was in the hospital! What dastardly fate fell upon those journalistic shoulders full of integrity and gumption? Read on dear reader, read on...

Gentlemen Prefer Bond...

...but those Bond Girls could sure use some stories of their own. The Nemesis Complex Blog Collective wanted to discuss a very important topic, those favorite minor characters we all know and love. Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 67!

Here we are; the final chapter of the three part fan fiction extravaganza called Adora's Search for Honor. I can't believe I have finally made it to this last chapter. I have been actually putting it off because I am just really nervous about posting this. I have been writing and typing this story for a long time now, and I can't believe it is finally at its end. I really thank each and every one of you who have given this story even the slightest of glances. It is from my heart and it is my own personal love letter to Adora/She-Ra and as many of the characters that I could possibly fit in and celebrate. So enough of the rambling, let's get this story going!

Remaking Cutesy

Ok so it is obvious that I enjoy writing. I have always had some sort of note pad or notebook with me writing down anything and everything that flies through my mind. I have been able to write all kinds of fun things on this blog and I was super excited to be invited to write occasionally for Nerd Society. I have also been having a blast writing with other fellow bloggers from the League of Extraordinary Bloggers. Now I am also participating in another experience that is similar to the League in that this really fun blog called Nemesis Complex has a Blog Collective wherein other fabulous bloggers contribute to a weekly topic. I feel like I am never going to be short for ideas on what to type about for now! (I was worried about a year ago that I would be running out of topics to talk about.)

So get ready to click on for a new topic, and in case you were wondering what happened to the latest chapter of Adora's Search for Honor, have no fear. I am almost finished with it and will hopefully post it tomorrow. It is difficult to get a new chapter typed up and polished every weekend. Especially when it is a busy weekend. I was in charge of cooking a meal for my dad on account that my mom was out of town. Me cooking? I was living on a hope and a prayer. Thankfully no one got sick.

Miss M's Super Star Sports Agency!

The League of Extraordinary Bloggers put forth a rather tricky topic this week:

You open your own sports agency. Which pop culture all stars will be your first clients? “Show me the money!”

Ok so let me be real, I know zip about being a sports agent and I know virtually nothing about sports. Nothing at all. I once joined a YMCA soccer team as a kid because I was told that if you made it to goalie status you'd get upgraded to a gold shirt. I was thrilled because I thought it'd be a gold lamé confection like Jem's Glitter n Gold look. It was just a golden yellow t-shirt. Golden yellow. Disgusting. So let's see if I can do this week's topic some justice...

Dorkette Book Club: Misty Morgan!

It has been awhile since we've had a good old fashioned Dorkette Book Club offering, so I thought today would be the perfect day for us to check out something from the stacks.

Toy Chest Tuesday! Perfuma!

Well this week's Toy Chest was a very interesting one. I had originally intended on talking about a few other toys, but after standing around in my archival room I realized there was something I had said I would talk about months ago, and I never did! Adding to all this was LeAnn's Flea Market finds, and I figured this week would be perfect to talk about Perfuma!

Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 65!

Ok. Are you ready? We have made it to the 65th chapter of Adora's Search for Honor, and this is the chapter I have been waiting for ever since I first posted this fanfic. This is the chapter that is straight from my heart and makes me a mess every time I think about it. When I type these chapters out I tend to voice out what the characters are saying, and if I had the power to do so I would take each and every one of you in my mind to see it all through my eyes. I hope that this is a very entertaining and spectacular chapter. After this chapter there are only two more left, so enough of my babbling, let's get things going!

Bring it Back!

Oh the League of Extraordinary Bloggers is cooking up one of my favorite topics this week!

Bring it back! What product or media property would you like to see revived, and how would you imagine it being different today?

There are many things that I have talked about that have needed a good old fashioned come back. I've wished for Poochie, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and Moondreamers to all return as well as the usual heavy hitters I talk about on a constant loop. So what to talk about this time?

Thursday, June 6, 2013

Bits and Pieces! Wave 8!

I haven't done one of these in awhile, but there has been some pretty exciting toy news this week. So ring the alarm, it is time for an all new Bits and Pieces! Toy news you can totally use and that has totally been reported all over the place, but do any of those other news sources contain my wit and charm? Didn't think so!

Adora's Search for Honor Pat 3! Chapter 64!

We've finally made it! The wedding of Adora and Bow is just a click away and it promises to all go down in a chapter you won't forget! The next few chapters are the final pieces of Part 3, and this is the part I have been dying to tell. So enjoy!

May 2013 Bodacious Baddie!

Toy Chest Tuesday is going to be delayed this week, but have no fear, it will be back next week and better than ever! (We'll be visiting the 90's, when a certain female detective wore club dresses and essentially had a crazy skin condition courtesy of a symbiotic relationship with an ancient weapon. It's gonna be fun.) Anyways, read on for the latest!

Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 63!

She-Ra Saturday is all new on a Sunday! Get ready as Adora along with her family and friends gear up for the first Etherian wedding! This is a long chapter, but it is jam-packed with all kinds of really good stuff! Enjoy.

Why, of all things, a She-Ra fanfic?

It's time for an all new mission from the League of Extraordinary Bloggers. I've got all my gear ready and I am ready to dive in. This latest mission is a doozy, and I might not come back alive. But I'm going to try. The fate of the universe is hanging in the balance. Well... maybe that's a slight exaggeration. Anyways, so the topic this week is quite something else:

Why? No, really. WHY?

Yup. That's all folks.

May 2013 Woman of Wonderosity!

It is time for an all new Woman of Wonderosity! I was sitting with my mentor April O'Neil and we were discussing this month's W.O.W. over some cherry cokes and pizza, when April decided to drop the truth: I was going on tour with this month's W.O.W. Read on to find just what I learned while on the road with a truly outrageous talent!

Toy Chest Tuesday! ALF Collectible Figure: Augie!

Today's Toy Chest Tuesday is sort of like a sequel today! A very strange sequel to a very strange, yet lovable, toy line. Back in the late 80's ALF had a cartoon that expanded upon his family and friendships. It was a short lived cartoon and had an even shorter toy line. I have already mentioned ALF's intergalactic girlfriend Rhonda. But now let's check out ALF's sister Augie!

Monday, May 20, 2013

Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 62!

She-Ra has been getting around a bit lately huh? I mean she is poised to make a big splashy return into comics. Kylie Minogue is playing her on an all new NBC series. (That Funny or Die video skit was hilarious, check it out here.) I mean I think it is high time that people start getting with the program. The love for She-Ra and all the endless possibilities of her story should be celebrated! So I'm doing my little part to help spread the awareness of She-Ra! She-Ra Saturday may have been slightly delayed, yet again, but it will all be worth it! Read on for the newest chapter of Adora's Search for Honor!

The League of Extraordinary Bloggers has an all new assignment this week, and you all know I have something to say. The topic is Star Trek...

Sunday, May 12, 2013

Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 61!

So if you've been reading, I'm sure you are wondering, "When is this long drawn out story going to end Miss M?" Well have no fear. The end is near, I promise. But for now, just sit back and relax. Enjoy this soapy fanfic full of heart and humor. It is what She-Ra would want you to do!

It Was Supposed to be a Three Hour Tour...

... that became a fun topic from the League of Extraordinary Bloggers! The topic this week consists of that lovely what-if:

You are stranded for 10 years on a deserted island. You can take with you the following:
One food item (in a never-ending supply), one movie, one game, and one pop culture character.

Oh the possibilities!

Tuesday, May 7, 2013

Toy Chest Tuesday! Rose Petal Place!

Oh the plight of the scented toy. Most of the time we are expected to enjoy sniffing a piece of plastic that smells like a sinful treat we know we shouldn't eat. For instance, I could never be friends with Strawberry Shortcake or Cherry Merry Muffin. Everything would smell like fresh baked goods and other yummy desserts, and I'd be like, "Are we going to eat dessert yet?" And Strawberry Shortcake would just roll her eyes and say, "Oh Miss M, you're smelling my hair. There are no real desserts, we're plastic." And then I'd just start gnawing on my arm from all the hunger. But on a side note, would being a zombie in Strawberryland be so much fun or what? Anyways, let's get on with this week's Toy Chest Tuesday!

Sunday, May 5, 2013

Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 60!

She-Ra Saturday is late again. But, I hope this new chapter more than makes up for it all. Things are heating up more and more, and someone just might get burned...

This 300th Diary Entry is Rated X!

Lamest title ever. I know. But, once you read just a dorkette click away, it will all make sense. So take a brief break, go to the restroom and get your snacks, and prepare to read about the latest topic from the League of Extraordinary Bloggers: Comics!

Thursday, May 2, 2013

Friends of a Dorkette!

Ok, so I know that I tend to ramble on and on about dorky things on this blog, it is after all why you are reading. I mean you certainly didn't stop by here for my soaring intellect or my ability to solve complicated math equations. However, every now and then I do have other things to talk about that do not involve the dorkier things in life. Take for instance by dear friend Patrick, who recently won big at a Pole Competition...

Tuesday, April 30, 2013

Toy Chest Tuesday! Erica Kane!

Toy Chest Tuesday is all new! Sort of! Yay!

Since my soaps have returned from the grave faster than Jean Grey, I thought this week would be a great opportunity to look back at one of my favorite Barbie dolls ever made. I have shown her before, but I am actually going to do something wild and crazy. I'm opening her up. (Cue the soapy melodramatic background music.)

Monday, April 29, 2013

Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 59!

She-Ra Saturday was totally delayed! A great deal of things happened this weekend that interfered with getting this chapter together. First off, I went to see Book of Love in concert with my brother, mom, and my brother's friend. Oh my goodness, it was so much fun. But it made me realize that I am old and cannot hang with the young folks. I wore these crazy high heels and danced the whole night. I've since been paying for it because my hips hurt so bad! Oh goodness, what a mess. Anyways, Adora's Search for Honor is all new, and this chapter is full of reunions and revelations! Enjoy.

April 2013 Heroic Hottie!

The final trifecta of drool worthy interviews for the month hits Diary of a Dorkette and promises to deliver the best and hottest photos of those plastic beefcakes of perfection! So read on to find out just who gets to wear the lovely paper crown I took from Burger King to be this month's Heroic Hottie!

We Only Have One Place to Sleep

I have to hand it to the amazing people who are part of the League of Extraordinary Bloggers, there are always topics to be had. This week's topic was innocent enough: You have the opportunity to spend the night at any residence in pop culture. Where do you go?

Tuesday, April 23, 2013

April 2013 Bodacious Baddie!

Interviewing plastic people is hard work. I've addressed this issue before, but when you have to deal not only with interviewing plastic folks, but also having a boss that is a pretty iconic piece of plastic, well it just gets so darn tricky. Take this month's interview for the Bodacious Baddie...

Sunday, April 21, 2013

Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 58!

She-Ra Saturday is moving along full speed ahead! One of the things that I always think about when writing these chapters is how I so wish I could have pictures or something to go along with the story. One of the things I hope can happen one day is that Mattel will release every character so that I can at least take photos of important parts of the story. That way there can be some visual element to everything. I see it all flash by in my mind and I just wish I could share those images with you all. Anyways, let's get things going because the story is just heating up!

Saturday, April 20, 2013

April 2013 Woman of Wonderosity!

"Miss M. This is it. Are you ready?" How was I supposed to answer my mentor April O'Neil? What was I going to be ready for?

First Impressions of a Princess

First impressions are everything. Or at least that is what they say. "They" being the ominous and mysterious group of beings that tell all mere mortals the social cues of life. Personally I suck at first impressions. Well, most of the time. There are those rare occasions where I am not clumsy or awkward; those times where I can actually speak in a coherent sentence without bumbling anything is truly a miracle. Sometimes it takes me a second or third impression before people are like, "Hey, this chick isn't half bad."

Toy Chest Tuesday! Moore Action Collectibles!

Ok things are about to get real. Real dorky. Like beyond dorky. I can't actually believe that I am about to "go there" with this week's Toy Chest Tuesday. So, let me set the stage for you, oh faithful reader. It was 1997. I was deep in high school and very awkward. Mostly friendless, I was obsessed with pop culture. I had long bleached hair because I wanted nothing more than to look like Gwen Stefani. (With my big old glasses, I was totally looking just like her.)

Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 57!

And the chapters just keep on rolling out. She-Ra Saturday is all new! (A little late, but still new!) The ending is slowly creeping along, but this latest chapter will hopefully not disappoint.

A Plastic Hate Infestation!

Hate is one powerful word. In fact, hate is like the Hulk of words. It can just smash into things without a care in the world. I don't usually hate things. So this week's assignment for the League was quite a change of pace for me. The topic was, what piece of pop culture did you hate as a kid? I'm a true southern lass and was brought up to never hate anything. It is times like these that I wish I was a true bad girl, you know the kind: wearin' cha-cha heels and stompin cigarettes out with a well pedicured toe while wearing skin tight pants that I may or may not be sewn into. Alas I am nothing close to being a true bad girl.

Toy Chest Tuesday! Fighting Force!

Hold onto your controllers, because this Toy Chest Tuesday is going to be long winded. Like, really long winded. As some of you may know, I love video games. I am a child of the 80's so video games have been as much a part of my life as air or McDonald's. Now here's the thing, I am not big on competition. I've never been good at it. I'm average at best for most things in this life. So my favorite kind of video games have always involved co-operative play. There is nothing better than playing a game with your friends where you are having to work together to either stay alive or solve a clue. Games like Gain Ground, Streets of Rage, any TMNT Arcade title, and of course the ultimate Zombies Ate My Neighbors were just the best, to name a few.

Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 56!

Wow, how can this chapter top the last one? Chapter 55 was good, but this story is just going to get better. Let's get this She-Ra Saturday started, on Sunday!

Diary of a Dorkette is on Facebook!

What is the world coming to? First I joined Twitter and now I have finally gotten over whatever imaginary fears I have had and joined Facebook. (What can I say, when you have as many exes as I do, you gotta be a careful dorkette.) Anyways, I am notorious for always joining certain things a bit late. Like I'm still rocking the slide phone. I'm guessing in the next ten years I will join the ranks of tech savvy folks with an upgrade to a smart phone. Maybe. For the longest time I refused to even own a digital camera. I thought throw-away cameras were perfectly acceptable. How was I even able to survive this long?

Anyways, here is what you can expect to see with Diary on Facebook. I am hoping to add all kinds of great photos and what-not to catch people up on all the fun. There are many lovely things that you may have missed if you are just tuning into Diary of a Dorkette. So in the coming weeks I hope to have it perfect and looking fantastic.

Here is my special main photo:

I hope everyone is doing well, and if you are on Facebook, stop by and check things out! Here is the link: Diary of a Dorkette. Take care everybody!

Toy Chest Tuesday! Keypers!

Toy Chest Tuesday is back and full of all new stories and fun pictures of toys from yesteryear. This toy is really perfect for the "Chest" of Toy Chest Tuesday. Now these toys we are looking at today had the key to my dorky little heart for sure. The year was 1986 and Tonka was making more than just trucks. There was quite a girl toy renaissance in the 80's that went above and beyond just dolls. There were plenty of gimmicks to be had and pretty much most girl lines had something unique to offer. Tonka's Keypers line was full of cute colorful animals that had a key to unlock what was essentially storage components inside the toy's body. There were larger sets (the adults) that came with a key and a little pvc character called a Finder. There were also baby Keypers, they did not come with a compartment to unlock, but had more of an opening that you just slid open and it was basically a chest for all your toy treasures.

New Jem dolls, Wave 3!!!

This is not an April Fool's joke. I have pictures of the all new and all rowdy third wave of dolls from Jem and the Holograms. The outrageous line by Hasbro and Integrity Toys is finally going to release the:

Roxanne "Roxy" Pelligrini

Roxy looks amazing! One of the things I am really glad that Integrity Toys has done is feature the loud makeup that the Misfits are known for. The Holograms all look great, but they seem more subtle with their makeup. Roxy just looks loud and fun. I also love her accessories. The Misfits record and hot pink guitar is really nice! I am just flipping out, and this is just Roxy!
Mary "Stormer" Phillips

Something tells me a lot of people are going to be gaga for Stormer. She looks stunning. Her blue hair is fantastic. It is just perfect. I love her face sculpt. They even put the flower in her hair! Oh goodness I thought everything was fantastic with the first two waves, but the Misfits just look fantastic. I also really like her guitar synthesizer.
Phyllis "Pizzazz" Gabor

My favorite Jem character ever looks stunning. This is simply the best looking job they could have ever done with Pizzazz. She looks amazing (much better than my failed attempt at a Pizzazz costume this past Halloween.) The face is spot on. I love that she comes with a copy of Cool Trash with Kimber on the cover. That was such a fun episode. I keep finding myself more and more impressed with this line, Integrity Toys keeps knocking these dolls out of the park. I just wish the prices weren't so out of the park too.
So these dolls come in at a suggested retail value of $119.00 and can only be purchased from registered Integrity Toys dealer. The expected ship date is expected for May. For a list of Integrity Toys dealers, click here. And continue to check out these pictures! They just look amazing. I can't wait to see what they come up with next.

Adora's Search for Honor Part 3! Chapter 55!!!

Adora's Search for Honor is all new with Chapter 55! I am getting really excited because this story is coming to an end! With only a handful of chapters left, how will it all end? I'm still not telling, so just sit back and enjoy this all new She-Ra Saturday!

Previously: The Snake Men were vanquished. She-Ra fought against King Hiss and Skeletor. After a long fight, King Hiss was tossed into lava while Skeletor was seemingly killed too. The giant snake Serpos threatened to destroy Eternia, but was stopped by none other than Stinkor... Mermista and Mer-Man were trapped inside a giant sea creature known as the Zazark. Mermista made a deal with Mer-Man if he could find a way to get them both out alive. The deal being that Mermista would hand over her magic necklace giving her the freedom to roam the lands with her legs... Ultimera finally realized where her Chaos Sword was... Flutterina has been feeling funny... Frosta has been a bit depressed. With the knowledge that Sweet Bee and He-Man might be kaput, she suddenly started feeling a little bit better...

And now...
Adora's Search for Honor
Part 3
Chapter 55

"Mighty Hordak, we can't stay in the Sun Tower forever," mumbles Grizzlor as the furry beast looks towards his leader. Standing tall in the Crystal Sands, the Sun Tower is a rather remote place, safe from prying eyes. The drawback is all the dry and hot air floating about. Grizzlor is drenched in sweat, hoping that Hordak manages to come up with a new idea for a base.

Sitting comfortably in Peekablue's gilded throne, Hordak feeds his pet Imp, "Grizzlor, where would you have the fledgling Horde go? Hm?" Hordak patiently awaits an answer. Grizzlor rubs the back of his head in silence. Leech and Modulok look on from the sidelines. Hordak continues, "I'm trying to approach this situation differently. The old Hordak would have rushed down and smacked you in the face for such a stupid statement. I've changed though. Nearly losing everything will do that to a ruthless leader. We have no other choice but to stay here for awhile longer." Hordak asks for someone to retrieve Multi Bot.

Leech leaves to quickly return with a fully charged Multi Bot. Buzzing with his familiar lilt, the multi-limbed robot greets Hordak. The leader of the Horde inquires about the state of the Horde's current abode and other Horde members. Multi Bot whirs, "Mighty Hordak, the Sun Tower will be unable to sustain us for much longer. We will need to find something soon if you want to rise in numbers. No other Horde members have returned either. It looks like we are all that is left of the Horde."

Groaning in annoyance, Hordak sits on his throne, "Carry on with your work Multi Bot. We'll continue to wait for a little while longer. The others must arrive soon. If they do not, we will leave to find something else." The other Horde members smile at this thought. None of them want to continue wasting away in the barren Sun Tower. Unknown to the struggling Horde members, Huntara continues to watch on and observe in the shadows...

Word reaches throughout various areas of Eternia just a mere day after the fall of the Snake Men along with the death of Skeletor. Many people are stunned, unsure of what to believe. The Masters of the Universe gather round to hunt down any remaining Snake Men that are loose. A few Evil Warriors hover behind in Snake Mountain. They feel lost and unable to determine any course of action. The world is beginning to look like a new place. For some.

Castaspella charges into Snake Mountain followed by She-Ra and Netossa. The hypnotizing enchantress is still devastated over the loss of Stinkor. Among other concerns, Castaspella is also furious and looking for a fight with Shadow Weaver. In a matter of seconds, Castaspella approaches Shadow Weaver, "We have unfinished business witch!"

Shadow Weaver stares blankly at Castaspella, "Oh poor pathetic Castaspella. Haven't you had your fill of the fight? What do you want with me?" Pointing a finger at the witch, Castaspella charges, "You need to pay for your crimes. You killed my sister and tarnished her child. Catra is now a menace to the world and you let her escape. You cannot continue to roam free." She-Ra and Netossa stand with Castaspella in support.

Rasping out a reply, Shadow Weaver sighs, "How shall I pay for my crimes? And exactly how is it a crime that I left Mystacor to join the Horde? I never twisted your sister's arm to follow me. She followed on her own free will. I couldn't help that Hordak would place her in the slave mines. As for her spawn, well, I would like to think that I gave Catra a better life than you ever could. I taught her how to use her magic. I made sure she could rise in the ranks of the Horde. She never saw a day in the slave mines."

Castaspella shakes her head, "Unbelievable. The way you weave your little lies is disgusting. You know exactly what you have done. And you must pay." Shadow Weaver crackles an electric energy from her finger tips, "Haven't I suffered enough?" She points towards She-Ra, "She killed Skeletor, the only man I have ever loved! I've suffered with my disfigured face. Cloaked in shadows and magic, I have had to stumble through a painful existence! I have more than paid for all of our crimes."

Netossa places a hand on Castaspella's shoulder, "Come on Casta, we can't keep doing this. We've been through enough. Come on, let's just leave her alone." Castaspella shrugs away from her friend, "No. I can't do that!" Castaspella has tears in her eyes, "I'm never going to see my sister again. She is gone. I have a niece that I will never get to truly know. For all I will ever know of Catra is a spiteful madwoman. Shadow Weaver must pay for that." She-Ra turns to Castaspella, "Netossa is right Casta. Going after Shadow Weaver is only going to lead to more fighting. We've all been through enough warring to last us an eternity. Let's just leave this alone. Please, my friend."

Castaspella looks around the inner confines of Snake Mountain. Her heart hurts. She wants to see Stinkor. His is a familiar face, a face she has been used to seeing since her arrival on Eternia. But she knows that is not possible. She feels as if sadness and loss surrounds her in a tight grip. Hanging her head, Castaspella agrees to leave.

Shadow Weaver smiles to herself. As the heroes begin to leave, Shadow Weaver calls out for She-Ra to remain behind. Netossa gives a look, "Is that a good idea?" She-Ra nods as Netossa and Castaspella walk away. She-Ra turns to stare at Shadow Weaver. They are alone.

"It has been awhile since we've been together, hasn't it?" Shadow Weaver asks in an odd way. She-Ra casually shrugs, "I am not quite sure what that means. We've hardly spent much alone time together." Tilting her head back, Shadow Weaver chuckles, "That's where you are wrong child. Did you really think I'd never figure it out? After all, wasn't it I who raised you, Adora?"

A strange look passes over She-Ra's face quickly. Shadow Weaver points a twisted finger at the princess of power, "I saw it. Just now. I saw that glimmer of truth flash across that face of yours." She-Ra shakes her head, "Whatever you think you may know, don't get things twisted Shadow Weaver, you never raised me."

Folding her arms in a mock rage, Shadow Weaver rasps, "Oh yes. I forgot, that wretched nanny Madame Razz took care of you. But that wasn't entirely true now was it? I seem to recall you fondly thinking of me as your mother. You and Catra both. I wanted so much to instill the virtues of evil in you. I failed you." She-Ra shakes her head, "No. I simply realized that there were glaring errors in my ways. The master tricks that Hordak and you placed on all of us came crashing down. The children of the Horde Academy grew up to embark on their own path. And I'm proud to say that I stopped Hordak."

"So you stopped Hordak. Good for you Adora. With a little bit of razzle dazzle the stolen baby from Eternia became the warrior woman to bring about the Horde's own downfall. But you haven't stopped me. And you certainly haven't stopped Catra." Shadow Weaver lifts her head high, glaring with those bright yellow eyes. She-Ra shakes her head, "I meant what I said. I'm not going to try and stop you. You no longer pose a threat. You never did. Shadow Weaver, you were only a force to be reckoned with when you were standing behind some man. Hordak and Skeletor are both gone. You might as well dig your own grave now."

"What of your grave Adora? This whole persona as the virtuous She-Ra is stunning for sure, but I know the depths that you've gone. The blood you have spilled can never be fully cleaned. I might not be able to shatter you, but there are others who will. If I am to pay for my crimes, than you too shall pay for yours."

She-Ra shakes her head, refusing to fall prey to these taunts, "I know what I have done Shadow Weaver. I live with my actions every day and every night. Unlike you though, I make sure that I can make up for the past. I want to see this world and Etheria be free of the forces of evil." Shadow Weaver laughs with a throaty rasp. She glides towards She-Ra, "You do that child. Fight for what you believe in. And when that moment arrives where you have to look into the face of all your horrors, well, I hope you tremble in fear. The time is coming She-Ra. I won't be able to stop you, but there is someone who will. Someone whose rage is a work of pure art."

She-Ra knows who Shadow Weaver is referring to. "Shadow Weaver, you are wrong. I believe that there is goodness within Catra. And when I cross paths with her I am going to help her." Shadow Weaver chuckles again, "You truly don't know do you? You will be in for the fight of your life. Fare well you foolish child." Shadow Weaver folds her arms quickly as a plume of smoke fills around her her. In a moment Shadow Weaver is gone.

Standing alone, She-Ra holds onto the words spoken by Shadow Weaver. She-Ra walks away hoping that she will be able to find Catra and that their lives will be able to create a new possibility. Something different and better than what they have known their whole lives. The princess of power leaves Snake Mountain behind, ready to start a path towards a new direction. A new chapter.

Deep inside the belly of the Zazark, Mermista and Mer-Man both struggle to escape. The two narrowly made it out of the digestive process of stomach acids and debris earlier. Together the two head towards a destination that Mer-Man promises will be their safe exit. Mer-Man is giddy with the thought of being free and able to finally reclaim the seas as his own. Hurling an insult towards Mermista, Mer-Man croaks, "The mer-people are going to finally have to deal with payback." Mermista rolls her eyes, "I get it Mer-Man. You don't have to keep going on and on." Mer-Man stops walking and glares at her, "No you don't get it! You don't know what it is to have your land taken from you! I never had a choice or say in the matter. Your kind just showed up one day and the surface dweller Randor worked with your father to determine how the new seas would be mapped out. I was a king! I was a ruler! It was all mine!"

Mermista shakes her head, "I'm sure your ruling ways were that of a tyrant. You should be rotting in a cell somewhere." Mer-Man clenches his fists as if he is going to strike her. He refrains and spits out, "You know nothing of me as a ruler. You have no idea what it is to be alone." Mermista wants to pull her hair out, "Really? You think so? You are a screwed up bastard! Do you listen to anything that spews out of that mouth? I can't help what happened to you. I was not even a part of those actions. I can only tell you this, the mer-people were living just fine on Etheria before they had no other choice but to flee their homes from the threat of the Horde. They arrived on a new world needing a place to live. Where should they have gone? Not everyone can live on land! What would have been your solution? Would you have worked together with the mer-folk of Salineas?"

Mer-Man starts walking away trying to ignore her. Mermista follows in persistence, "Go on. Answer me Mer-Man. You are so big and bad with all your gripes, but what would you have done? Would it have ever been possible to share the seas with others? Or were you too selfish to even give that a thought?" Turning in anger, Mer-Man shouts, "I am through with you! We are almost out of here and I can't wait. I will get you out of here and take your necklace for my queen and I'll never have to deal with you or the silly mer-people again!"

Mermista pauses as her hand travels to her necklace, "Queen? Is that what you intend to do with my necklace? You are going to give this to your queen?" Mer-Man grins, "It will look far superior on Octavia." Trying not to be sick, Mermista shakes her head, "You are delusional if you believe that Octavia will be your queen. To be certain, Octavia has most likely already taken the Kingdom of Salineas for herself. She is ruthless. You think what happened to you with the mer-people was bad, well, just wait and see what Octavia is capable of."

Refusing to hear any of it, Mer-Man gurgles, "Octavia is not like that at all. She would never betray me!" Mermista shakes her head, "Just wait and see. Ya know Mer-Man, the world doesn't have to be some competition to see who can control all the resources. We can all share the sea together. It doesn't have to be this way." Mer-Man snaps, "Shut up. I'm tired of hearing you talk." Mermista rolls her eyes and they continue to walk in silence.

The two continue walking as the long chamber they are in begins to slowly close in around them. Mermista looks around wondering where they are going to go next. Space is becoming limited. Eventually the unlikely pair reach an end. Before them is a wall of squishy light pink fleshy material. Mer-Man gurgles in a huff, "We walk through that." Mermista shakes her head, "How? What is it?"

Mer-Man explains the nature of the Zazark, "Above his brain rests a giant space. In that space there should be a flap of skin that opens up every now and then. When it opens water will more than likely pour in and we will be able to swim to the top once the space is filled. Now come on, we have to go through this mass of brain matter." Mer-Man places his hands into the squishy material. He begins to slide between two pieces of thick pinkish flesh.

Taking a closer step, Mermista takes a deep breathe and walks into the pink gooey flesh. It is wet and slimy. She opens her eyes and finds herself surrounded by the layers of the fleshy material that bend and twist all around her. She can see Mer-Man slightly in front of her, so she does her best to follow him. "This way, follow me!" Mer-Man barks back at her. They travel upwards through the brain matter.

Feeling fully surrounded by the pink matter, Mermista begins to feel claustrophobic. Her heart is racing and she isn't so sure that she is going to be able to get out. Thoughts of forever being stuck in the bends and twists of matter all around her drives Mermista insane. She finds it difficult to breathe. With skin growing hot, Mermista manages to focus all her might on getting out. Breaking through to the other side, Mermista stumbles up and across a slick smooth surface of Zazark flesh.

Looking up, Mermista can see that she made it into the large space above the Zazark's brain. There is a strange circular piece of flesh that seems to move in the stillness. It opens slightly as water falls into the space. "Oh my goodness, we are almost out of here," Mermista calls out looking for Mer-Man. He is not in the space with her. Mermista looks around trying to find him. It dawns on her that Mer-Man is still in the fleshy pink brain matter.

Pausing to think of her next actions, Mermista realizes that this could actually be her chance to escape. She could leave the Zazark's body and be free. There would be no need to part with her magical necklace. Mermista looks back at the matter, contemplating her actions. Taking a step forward, Mermista heads back into the slick matter.

Feeling nothing but panic at being in the tight space again, Mermista hurries to find Mer-Man. Walking through, Mermista eventually notices Mer-Man tangled up. One of the squishy cylinders of material is wrapped around his neck. Another thought enters her mind: she could easily turn around and leave Mer-Man to die and rot inside the Zazark's brain. Mermista realizes though that that would not be fair to the Zazark.

Looping Mer-Man free, Mermista drapes an arm around his shoulder guiding him out to safety. They both fall to the ground. Mer-Man is not breathing. "Oh come on." Mermista groans as she works her magic on the evil warrior. Placing her lips against his fishy face, Mermista breathes air into his mouth. She wants to gag at the actions, but luckily Mer-Man is able to breathe on his own.

Coughing uncontrollably, Mer-Man composes himself and looks over at Mermista, "You... you... saved me." The flap above opens again as more water pours in. Mermista shakes her head, "It was nothing. Contrary to what you may think of me and my kind, I'm not a monster." Mer-Man is slightly stunned, "You could have left me in there." Mermista folds her arms, "I certainly could have couldn't I? But I didn't. This sea creature doesn't deserve that. Now can we get out of here?"

Mer-Man nods and together the two wait for the space to fill with just enough water before they can swim to the top. Waiting for just the right moment, Mermista and Mer-Man both swim through the flap finally being free of the Zazark. They are also a ways away from Salineas. Mermista is pleased to be free under the water again. She removes her necklace and hands it to Mer-Man.

Taking it from her, Mer-Man grabs her hand, "We swim to Salineas now." Mermista closes her eyes as she feels her legs bind together forming her fins. She holds back tears as she realizes that without that necklace her freedom to roam the sea and land is now over. Living so far under the water, she won't be able to see her friends and will more than likely never see Etheria again.

The pair swim in silence as each deal with the racing thoughts in their minds. Mer-Man struggles with a growing conscious. He wants to rule the seas but he isn't so sure what it will all mean to him if he rules like he did once before.

As they arrive at the palace, Mermista is saddened at the destruction around her. Sea towers are damaged. Mer-people everywhere are trying to pick up the pieces of their lives. Mer-Man still has hold of Mermista. She refuses to fight him, she is tired of it all. They arrive at their original spot before being swallowed by the Zazark.

King Mercier is sitting on the coral throne room floor as a mer-guard handles his wounds. Merlia turns to see Mermista and Mer-Man both bubbling up. Rushing towards her sister, Merlia is ready to hold onto Mermista, but refrains. Mer-Man eyes Mercier, "What is this? You were to be dead. That is my throne Mercier."

Mercier looks at his daughter with Mer-Man, "I just want my daughter to be safe. Let Mermista go and the kingdom can be yours. None of it matters if my two daughters are harmed in any way." Mermista leans her upper body on the coral steps of the throne room as her tail swirls in the water at the bottom. Mer-Man steps out of the water, "Where is Octavia?"

Merlia speaks up, "The tentacled woman left. After the Zazark ate you both she couldn't put up much more of a fight. She tried though, saying something about finally having the chance to rule something of her own. But it was more than she could handle." Mer-Man hangs his head, "So she is gone..."

Mercier stands and walks to Mer-Man, "Must we continue this? We've both caused problems. I know this. I can't keep doing this anymore. I have my daughters to think about." Mer-Man lifts his head up and gurgles, "I have no one." He glares at the king. Mermista whispers, "Mer-Man, I had no one either. I grew up thinking that those I had come from were dead. I managed though to do something else, to make a life work for me no matter what."

Mer-Man rolls his eyes, "Ha. Sweet talks mean nothing. I'll destroy you all! I'll get Skeletor to help. This will be my time!" King Mercier shakes his head, "No. I'm afraid not. Skeletor is dead." Mer-Man croaks, "Impossible." King Mercier explains, "We just received word from the surface. She-Ra has rid Eternia of Skeletor as well as the leader of the Snake Men." Mer-Man takes a step back, "Impossible. Just impossible."

Turning to leave, Mer-Man charges down the stairs. Mercier calls out to him, "It is going to be a different world now Mer-Man. I am willing to come to an agreement on the seas, a real and meaningful agreement, if you are." Mer-Man ignores the king. He steps into the water next to Mermista. Producing the necklace, Mer-Man mumbles, "Here. It is yours."

Mermista looks at him in shock. Mer-Man delicately moves her long blue hair to the side as he carefully places the necklace around her neck. Mermista whispers, "Thank you." He can only look away before descending into the water. Mermista looks at her sister and father. Rising out of the water, Mermista walks up the steps with her legs. She falls into their arms hugging them both as tight as she can.

Shadow Weaver stands in the shadows of Skeletor's empty throne room. She looks around the room and begins to talk, "It is safe now. You can come out." Skeletor steps out of the shadows and beckons her forward. Shadow Weaver steps towards him, "They think you are truly dead." Skeletor grins, "Excellent Shadow Weaver. And you are sure that no one else knows of my survival?" Shadow Weaver shakes her head, "I've made sure the Evil Warriors stay away from this room. And any conversations I've had with the Masters of the Universe have been held else where. So what is next? What do we do now?"

Skeletor looks around his throne room, "It is like I said before, I think I am done with this place. With all of it." Skeletor throws his arms open around him, "I want a change. A great big change." Shadow Weaver nods, "I am here to assist you in any way." Skeletor nods, "Wonderful Shadow Weaver. I want us to leave this place, to leave this world. Can you do that?" Shadow Weaver nods, "Yes Skeletor. I can find us elsewhere and no one would be the wiser."

Grinning, Skeletor grabs hold of her, "We shall be off then. But before we go, I want to take care of something. In private." Shadow Weaver rasps, "I understand Skeletor. I shall return soon." Shadow Weaver floats out of the throne room.

Skeletor stands tall. He thinks about his past in this throne room and the significance of it all. This has been his home. He slightly twitches his face at the thought that he will never see Evil-Lyn again nor most of his Evil Warriors. He is going to embark on a new journey. One that he will share with Shadow Weaver. "I never would have expected this." Skeletor says aloud before turning back to the shadows chanting, "Scare Glow!"

The familiar ghost travels through the walls, heading towards Skeletor, "You called my name?" Skeletor nods, "Yes. We need to talk. I'm leaving Snake Mountain and Eternia. I don't know when I will return, if ever. The world thinks I'm dead, and they are going to continue that assumption. I want you to be in charge. I want you to be my evil ghost."

Scare Glow grins, "What do you mean exactly?" Skeletor folds his arms across his chest, "I mean that the rest of the world is going to think I am truly dead. You are going to be my ghost, seeking to frighten and terrify those who would dare try to take this place for their own. That goes for those who are good as well as my evil warriors. With me gone, I know there will be a few trying to take my place. Strike fear into them, let my memory live on."

"Of course Skeletor, but there is just one problem. For some reason I am only to remain in Snake Mountain. I have tried to leave, but I cannot. My ghostly presence seems to prevent that." Skeletor simply shrugs, "Why would you want to leave? Everything you could possibly want is right here in Snake Mountain. There is a treasure. And there will be some who will continue to serve you. Just remember who you serve." Scare Glow nods, "I serve you Lord Skeletor." The evil lord of destruction grins in delight, "Precisely. Now go and await my departure. This will all be yours..."

In another section of Snake Mountain, Shadow Weaver approaches the remaining Evil Warriors including Octavia and Scorpia. Shadow Weaver pulls the two other Horde women aside, "Hurry, there isn't much time." Scorpia and Octavia look at each other in suspicion. Walking away from the group, Shadow Weaver turns to the women, "I'm leaving. And with my departure there will be no other chance for you to leave this world. I can quickly open a portal and send you both back to Etheria." Scorpia scrunches her face, "What about you? Where are you going?"

Shadow Weaver waves her hands in the air, "Do not concern yourself with me. I will be fine. Now hurry, do you wish to stay here or return to Etheria?" Octavia smirks, "I'm ready now. Take me back to Etheria." Scorpia pauses and looks back towards Clawful and the other Evil Warriors. She isn't so sure she can leave, but does she have much choice? Shadow Weaver rasps, "Come now, hurry with your minds."

Scorpia whispers, "Can we at least say goodbye?" Shadow Weaver snaps, "What do you think this is? Some sort of whimsical tale? There are no neatly wrapped goodbyes. I open this portal now or never. Now make a decision." Octavia and Scorpia both agree. Shadow Weaver grins in approval while swirling a portal open.

Further down the Evil Warriors begin to notice something going on. Clawful looks at the group, "What is that? Hey, what is this!" Clawful shouts to the women. The swirling portal opens, as Octavia and Scorpia prepare to walk through. Shadow Weaver calls out one last thing, "If you find Catra, give her this message." Shadow Weaver hands a piece of paper to Octavia. Nodding with the paper, Octavia steps through. Scorpia is next and she turns one last time to look back at Clawful running towards her. Throwing herself backwards into the portal, Scorpia is gone.

Clawful shouts her name. He doesn't understand. Shadow Weaver grins and is about to close the portal before she hears a familiar hissing sound. Crying out in shock, Shadow Weaver falls to the ground as two Snake Men lunge themselves through the portal as well. Rattlor and Tung Lashor jump through the portal from a ledge above Shadow Weaver. Both have been spying on the group. Seeking a chance of escape, the two Snake Men make it through the portal as it closes quickly behind them.

The evil warriors rush towards Shadow Weaver demanding answers. In a quick flash, Shadow Weaver releases a flurry of smoke and disappears.

Reappearing in Skeletor's throne room, Shadow Weaver rasps out, "Are you ready Skeletor?" Turning to see her love, Shadow Weaver holds out her hand as Skeletor approaches, "Yes Weaver. It is time to leave. Where are we off too?" Shadow Weaver rasps, "Wherever you would like." Skeletor ponders that statement and laughs, "I've always been curious about visiting space..." Shadow Weaver nods, "As you wish. I know just the place to go..." The mistress of dark magic swirls open a portal and together with Skeletor they walk through to an all new destination...

Heroes gather at the Eternos Palace in a manner befitting a seemingly nice ending to many people's problems. Eternia is overjoyed that Skeletor is seemingly dead, his Evil Warriors mostly disbanded. Adora removes her She-Ra persona and engages in smiles and hugs with her friends. Castaspella is saddened by recent events, however it feels good to finally be free of Snake Mountain. Perfuma and Netossa talk to Eternians, relishing in the moments of meeting new people. Perfuma steals a few moments with Man-E-Faces, still curious about his powers.

Attention is given as Mermista walks slowly into the palace to find her friends. Grinning through her pain, Mermista explains to her friends what she has been through as she also learns what occurred during her absence.

After sharing a drink with Fisto, Sea Hawk finds himself busy feeding his pet mouse in all the excitement, though his eyes fall upon Adora quite a few times. He so badly wants to talk to her, but refrains. Adora is happy, the world is finally starting to make sense. She is with Bow, and together things seem perfect. Sea Hawk has no idea though that underneath the smiles and kisses resides something restless. Adora may be happy next to Bow, but they still need to have a conversation that might change everything.

The other heroes are involved in their regular concerns. Teela is in a full fledged relationship with Sy-Klone again after all this time. She finds herself to be content, but something is missing. Maybe it has something to do with Adam/He-Man still living on Etheria. Duncan continues to work hard in his lab with the portal key. His hope is to have the portal between Eternia and Etheria open very soon. Orko does his best to help.

Other members of the Royal Guard talk and reminisce about scarier times. Stratos and Mekaneck discuss methods in which to capture the remaining Snake Men. Ram Man is still smitten with Netossa while Clamp Champ can't quite seem to shake the magical beauty of Castaspella. He is thankful that she saved his life. Rio Blast and Buzz Off enjoy in all the revelry.

Queen Marlena looks on at the crowd gathered round. There are tears in her eyes. Tears of happiness and sadness. Marlena is happy to have her daughter home, but the queen also misses her son and wishes that the king would wake from his wounds. She wonders how her life is going to be if Randor never wakes up.

Above all the excitement, in the king's room, Randor continues to rest. The wounds inflicted upon by Skeletor are all but healed. The king still sleeps though. Something magical suddenly happens. His hands and fingers twitch ever so slightly. There is a rumble throughout his body. It appears that King Randor is on the cusp of finally waking...

While life on Eternia seems to be good, there is a different story unfolding on Etheria. Frosta continues to lay up in her bed in Bright Moon. The icy empress refuses to leave her room. Her depression at her life circumstances is crippling. Refusing most visitors, Frosta will only allow a select few in to see her, and they cannot be sick to their stomachs.

Flutterina still receives speech lessons from Roboto. The two are actually quite close from the time they share together. The winged beauty also continues to feel sick and slightly panics when she notices that her stomach is sticking out a little more than usual. Trying to understand what is happening, Flutterina can only hope and wish that she can be normal like the other members of the Great Rebellion.

He-Man continues his efforts to woo Sweet Bee, or at least to understand why things have been different since they kissed. Sweet Bee on the other hand whole heartedly wants to avoid the situation at all costs. She isn't sure where her feelings should be with the muscle man, but if the lousy kiss is any indication, Sweet Bee is afraid she is going to have to hurt his feelings.

Glimmer works with former Horde members Romeo and Mantenna. The imprisoned members of the Horde are pulling their weight and actually becoming a part of Bright Moon society. Children are no longer fearful of Mantenna's appearance while Romeo and Glimmer become very close to one another, much to Angella's chagrin. Angella is concerned for her daughter. The winged angellic Queen of Bright Moon can only hope that a romance does not develop between Glimmer and Romeo, even though the blossoms of romance are all ready to bloom.

Spinnerella contemplates visiting her old home town to see how her family and Netossa's family have been doing. The fear of their disapproval is too much for the dizzying defender to stand, so Spinnerella simply stays behind in Bright Moon. Visiting Madame Razz helps as the old witchy woman is full of wisdom and sage advice. Spinnerella is finding her place.

The Star Sisters continue to hide out in Bright Moon fearful of the growing threat of Ultimera. They work with Peekablue and Kowl on ancient texts and other magical powers to try and find the location of the evil sorceress. Peekablue is exhausted from trying to peek in on the rest of the world. Ultimera is too strong and too tricky. The watchful friend of the Rebellion simply cannot locate Ultimera.

In other sections of Etheria, Catra and her partner in evil, Entrapta, slink their way into the abandoned Fright Zone. They make their way to Horror Hall looking for something. The emptiness of the Fright Zone is strange and the two women can only hope that they find some sort of clue as to what they should be doing next.

Back at the Sun Tower though, Hordak continues to wait for other Horde members to arrive. Sitting on his new throne for the time being, Hordak snorts, "Modulok! Fetch me more scraps for my pet Imp. He is hungry." Hordak rubs Imp's scaly head. The tiny dragon snorts in reply. Hordak can only smile with glee.

Modulok follows his orders and prepares to find some food. As he is about to leave, the large gilded doors of the Sun Tower throw themselves open as Ultimera walks through. Leech and Grizzlor both walk out from their posts, peering curiously at the woman with silver hair. Her inky purple eyes pulsate in madness.

Ignoring the two Horde members, Ultimera simply glides past. Modulok looks on as Ultimera steps towards the gilded throne. She looks up at Hordak with a blank face, "Have you seen my sword?" Hordak's eyes narrow as Ultimera patiently awaits an answer. Hordak can only smile. Standing tall, he snorts, "And who might you be?" Ultimera talks calmly, "I am the owner of the Chaos Sword. Do you have it? Something tells me you do..."

Hordak pulls out the powerful Chaos Sword, "The only sword I have, is this one. Is this the sword you seek?" Ultimera feels her magical energy crackling all around her, "Give me back my sword." Hordak snorts, "I've long wanted a special sword of my own. Sorry, but I think I'm going to keep this one. If you want it so badly, come and get it." Ultimera screams as her magical energy becomes to much to contain, "Certainly!" The room begins to shake and tremble. Grizzlor and Leech slowly make their way to the exit. Modulok hurries to find Multi Bot. As Hordak and Ultimera charge towards each other, Huntara continues to look on and observe in the shadows, taking note of everything...
